There was a situation during the holiday season when I was already struggling mentally and truly needed compassion, guidance, or even basic human kindness, and instead I was met with indifference and a complete lack of care. It was upsetting enough that my family seriously considered moving all of our prescriptions elsewhere. For a while, I stopped seeing this pharmacist there, so we stayed. Now she's back, and the same behavior has started all over again. Healthcare is not just about filling prescriptions. People coming into a pharmacy are often stressed, sick, overwhelmed, exhausted, or struggling silently. The way this pharmacist speaks to and handles customers feels heartless, robotic, and completely lacking in empathy or willingness to help resolve issues.
