We visited this patisserie on the recommendation of our apartment host and liked it so much that we came back the next morning for more. This is truly an artisan bakery - the food is made with quality ingredients and with love and pride. We envy the lucky Sunshine Coast residents who don't have to travel far to get a taste of France!

They have a fancy cold drip coffee device sitting on the front counter which was interesting to observe and it has a bit of a steam punk kind of coolness which made me feel like I wanted to try it. (I have had it before and my personal jury is out on cold press) Ample cold water provided for the hot day and turns out, if you ask nicely they will whip up milkshakes for the kids. Overall, if you don't mind not having a view of the water (and let's face it, you've probably been swimming in it for hours already anyway) then easier parking away from the bustle makes for a nice coffee experience

Muffins already sold out when we arrived at 11:15 so we had a piece of banana bread. It was more like a banana pudfing with fruit piled high. I then had avocado smash with poached eggs. Avocado mixed with corn. So good. My husband enjoyed chicken crepes and our son had a wrap and a homemade smoothie. I also had a cup log single origin coffee. Very strong but o was warned. Just passing through so sadly won't be back. I love dining like the locals and this place definitely for the bill.

The selection of coffee beans is good (though I wouldn't say exhaustive) but the number of cool chic items for sale certainly made up for that.
