I have gone through many different boat rental companies on Lake Travis, and ATX Boat Rentals was honestly the best! Jacob, our captain, did an excellent job with getting the boat ready, making sure we were taken care of and really engaging with our party. I have grown up with boats all my life and tried helping him with anything (because doing it alone is a challenge) and he told me just to relax and have fun. And it was so nice to be spoiled and also, know we are being taken care of safely! One of my favorite things about the trip was wake surfing, he was very patient and very helpful with tips! I eventually got up, not for very long, but his advice was extremely helpful! He even had a speaker to talk to the girls while they were up on the board to help them even more! He kept the boat such in order, and cleaned it while we were in the water! It was so nice to get on a boat ,not have to worry about cleaning up after ourselves, or anything honestly! Jacob and Capt. Griffin were fantastic. All around we had a wonderful experience. The forecasted weather had turned poor for the weekend and we were not sure we would be able to use our reservation. Jacob and Griffin were both very easy to get a hold of and attentive. We spoke many times on Saturday before we were to disembark to understand what the weather was going to do and what our options were if it turned bad. Jacob offered to move our time slot in order to accommodate the weather, and if the weather didn't let up, he'd refund us fully. Luckily the weather turned up great and we were able to enjoy our full time on the boat. Capt. Griffin was very easy going, and actually incredibly enjoyable to hang out with. The boat was shipshape and clean, very nice and new, and had an incredible sound system. Everyone in our party said the time on the boat was the best part of our weekend. We had a fantastic time with ATX Boat Rentals and our captain Jacob. Jacob was extremely friendly, answered all of our questions, and made us feel safe on his boat. We rented out the double-decker pontoon boat. The boat was fantastic and had so many amenities we never expected to have on board. We really enjoyed the water slide, lily pad, the second deck, and there was even a table on board to have lunch at! Our crew couldn't have asked for a better time out on the water. This guy Jacob let us down big time. He was supposed to pick up my friends and I who were visiting in town and just didn't show up. I called about 10 times and texted and he finally called back after 20 minutes saying that his boat wasn't turning on. It was such a lie - all the other boat companies know him and told us that his boat is his grandfathers brand new really nice boat and would not break down anytime soon. He's just a 22 year old who was likely hungover from partying the night before. Not reliable - go with another company like ATX Wake rentals!!! read more

Had a great time on Lake Travis! We were in the afternoon, and with Blake coming from Lake Austin he moved our slot back 30 minutes. I figured it would be even later- but when we got there he was already docked up and ready for us! They were in communication prior and gave us all the details we needed (bring ice and food/drink, bring cash to get into the park, etc). Blake was a fantastic driver and we had a great time hanging out on the lily pad and using the slide. This was the highlight of the bachelorette party. Highly recommend!! read more

ATX Boat Rentals is the only way to go! We had a mixed group of people who wanted to wake board, but also had the front of the boat for the girls to just relax and have a girl talk! It was so relaxing, and the sunset is for sure something you have to experience! There is nothing better than a day on the boat with friends and not having to worry about the cleanup after!
