This family owned restaurant takes no shortcuts. I'm not even a huge fan of foie gras (I know that's a dangerous thing to say to Frenchies) but the foie gras at Le 4 had me asking for more. Their fish is some of the freshest I've ever tasted. And the desserts are masterpieces of their own. The atmosphere of the restaurant is also fantastic. Situated on a side street in Brive, this little spot makes great use of its space. Plenty of room to eat al fresco, or indoors if it's chilly-even upstairs is an option. It's modern and minimal design make it feel fresh, sleek, and unpretentious. The owners run the place and are there everyday. They are extremely friendly and care about customers. If you are looking for a memorable meal in Brive, look no further than Le 4. 5 stars for Le 4!
