Rooms are basic with dated décor, but they are clean and comfortable, with sufficient amenities (kettle, etc). There's no fans, so it could be stuffy in the summer. The dynamic owner, Mme Depoix, is a most charming hostess, and speaks perfect English. The restaurant is highly commended by critics. We didn't have the opportunity to have a meal there, but breakfast is very good, with fresh bread and excellent local products (cheeses, jams, etc).

Perfectly seasoned. Service was not as good at the restaurant. IDK why, they acted a bit rude. Perhaps because we didn't order many things? It was unnecessary to behave that way and for the 50€ I spent they could have been nicer. It took half an hour to get water. The food is good but seriously not worth the aggravation. Go to the bistro and skip the restaurant. Both have nice views.

The king sized bed was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the modern bathroom and that there multiple outlets in the room, The grounds were spectacular, and offered beach access. We had dinner in the bistro and enjoyed the fish and chips and friendly service. If the opportunity presented itself, I would happily book a stay at the Hotel Dormy House.

The snacks were delicious and was a great start to our meal. Shortly after we were taken to our table, where the server brought more amuse bouche for us as well as homemade bread and butter. Wished the bread was warmed and the butter wasn't creamy (a bit bland and hard to spread). We ordered some white wine by the glass and the sommelier picked a delicious one for us, one of the best white wines i've had! For appetizer I had the langoustines (5/5), my main course was the sea bream (5/5), and dessert was the almond panna cotta (5/5). Everything was delicious and well made, not too heavy considering it is classic French food! My hubby had the cod (4/5) which was good but a bit on the bland side, it wasn't as tasty as the sea bream. All of the ingredients are locally sourced from Giverny and on site (herbs, veggies). We really loved the meal and the service! Highly recommended - the prices are amazing compared to US for a Michelin star meal! It was an awful day in terms of the weather, cold and damp and we needed to reenergize. Several of us went in to get a snack and to use the loo. We were seated and given menus. Most of us got coffee and a sweet to eat. We were not going to be guests here and after our snack, we had to get going on the next leg of the tour. The cake, hot chocolate and coffee were good and gave us the much needed energy to continue on. It was a pleasant break, the waitress accommodating [despite the fact we did not speak French and she did not speak English] and I would encourage you to try it if you are in Honfleur.

Le personnel était extrêmement agréable. La chose que je rencontrais généralement sur mes voyages dans des hôtels espagnols et français devenait l'utilisation d'un fer et une planche à repasser.
