There were 3 cutlets of foie gras each the size of a scroll wheel mouse! SERIOUSLY?! This dish would be equal to getting 7 or 8 foie gras portions in Hawaii. The cutlets were in a rich butter and banyul wine sauce that (I think) had demi glace in it. The diced carmelized turnips added just the right texture to the fatty livers. Holy schmolly this was incredibly good. The other dishes ordered were: Pressed rabbit terrine and Foie gras Steamed mussels in curry cream and crispy mushrooms Slow braised veal shanks (special of the day) Desserts: Baba ah rum with vanilla ice cream Pain perdu with fresh raspberries Raspberries in creme anglaise Everything was over-the-top delicious!
