What I like about Panache is that they don't just cater to the oldies and offer them English cottage garden bouquets, there are also exotic orchids and funky native blooms in various bright hues. They aren't the most artistic with their floral creations, and I would recommend heading to a more specialized florist for big occasions like weddings, but for a great bunch of flowers at a decent price - Panache is fine.

Troubadour is just the ticket for these moments, and provides all the contemporary floral favourites such as lilies, tulips and freesias. Best of all - they offer plenty of exotic looking plants whose botanical/actual names escape me (but that I give my own secret names like "spiky heads" or "pom-poms"). Troubadour is neatly hidden away - while the address is Glenferrie Road, it's actually in a little arcade so be careful not to miss it. What a shame that would be, because this place has friendly service and lovely wrapping which means you will be the happiest girl alive when you walk out with a bouquet.
