    I used this company solely because my landlords at the time had them install a fire monitoring…read moresystem. The installation and equipment were significantly overpriced, roughly triple the cost of other providers. From the outset, we encountered ongoing issues: technicians were dispatched multiple times to fix problems, but the issue remained unresolved. I was billed for an invoice and for a monitoring service that did not function. My calls to obtain results went unanswered. As a result, I stopped paying for a service that was not working. The account was subsequently turned over to collections, despite my continued attempts to contact both the company and the collection agency. I am now facing a lawsuit for over $6,000. This dispute could have been avoided if the installation and service had been performed correctly from the start.

I came to ABF from a Ring monitoring subscription and the difference in protection and service is substantial. I recently was traveling and a storm knocked out my system and caused some strange behavior. I was able to engage ABF support via text message using the plane WiFi and with their help enable the cleaning people to access house without tripping the alarm. Remote diagnostics were run and Josh from ABF was out the next day with a fix and also some additional insight on what my ABf system can do with advanced smart home tech. ABF does so much more than simply provide monitoring and they are worth their price. If you are using inexpensive and basic alarm systems, I highly recommend upgrading with AbF and gaining enhanced protection and peace of mind. They are part of the Alarm.com ecosystem which means it's the most advanced and always evolving in its simplicity. Thanks Amanda Cullen for going above and beyond!

    DON'T HIRE THEM! THEY DON'T ACTUALLY MONITOR YOUR HOME! I…read morepaid Assurance Protection to "monitor" my home for 4 1/2 years, with all monitoring running through my internet connection. Every six months we were sent a bill to renew our service, and we never agreed to auto-renew. When my wife and I moved to Chicago, we disconnected our internet... which should have prompted Assurance Protection to make sure that our everything was OK. They never noticed. Instead, after months of them having no way of not monitoring our alarm, they not only never noticed... but insisted on charging us full price for the past few months of NO SERVICE! I wonder how long before that they stopped checking on our ability to alert them! To top it all off, Donna, their uber-rude customer service lady, refused to even consider removing their bogus service charge despite it being for service neither asked for nor provided. When I became more insistent, she hung up on me. When I called back and asked why she hung up on me, she told me that I need to "find Jesus" and hung up on me again! I'm not sure which Jesus SHE believes in, but she sure seemed the polar opposite of the one in the Bible that I grew up reading! Don't you love it when dishonest people hide behind self-righteousness? Whatever you do, DO NOT TRUST the important matter of protecting your family and belongings to this nightmare of a company!

When you talk to them all they want to do is sell you additional cameras and we did not want to purchase any more as they are very expensive. In October my car was stolen from my driveway in the middle of the night and my doorbell camera did not pick it up. I call them to tell them and they then inform me that it can't pick things up during the night as it does not have night vision, what??? I tell them I want out of my service as now I have to get a new car they say I have to pay $915, I can't pay that I have to get a new car. I'm not giving them another dime.. I was not going to write a review but they won't let me out of my service so I am voicing my opinion of them. Do not go with them, they are way tooo expensive and the quality of the cameras are not that good, you can find better quality with other cameras!!

    I have waited as my review said since the 13th of September this company told me the glass breakage…read morewould sent by that friday now I have called three more times and was told the one guy told me the one time they are not responsible if a drug dealer lives in my neighborhood the glass breakage will be sent out when it is sent out. I was also told the company didn't have give the 200.00 promised when my brother got their service. I have been with them since 2008 and now I want look for someone else this is disgusting and disrespectful. I have women living with me that come from crisis centers. They need to feel safe. I am counseling minister. I was told they are not sending because the new one will not work with old ones and the company doesn't want replace out of date items. The other company is not who I wanted but I might have change. Beware. Their response to my first complaint was they would resolve my issues the man I talked said he can't tell me when the sensor will be mailed out. He also told me that the sensor might not work the other other sensors according to the other companies might be right he know so i just need to relax and wait. I have been with them and paying on time since 2008 and they do not care about my safety and that of my room mates. I did not get the 200.00 for my brother having them through me and I just have to live with it. So becareful I feel I need to talk to the Better Business Bureau. This is not acceptable from a security company I am a senior citizen and Minister and counselor for abused women. I must stand up for my right from being abused by this company.
