I'd leave one star but I'm leaving two stars because the man I spoke to last week was nice and explained everything very well. I was looking to get a CarPlay installed in my 2014 Honda CRV, I bought the part because I didn't need an expensive one and they said last week they would be able to do it for $175. I agreed and said I'd call back once I got the part. Called back today, a week later, and said I got the part and then they quoted me $275 because it has a camera. Then once I said I was originally quoted $175 he then tried to sell me a $775 Sony system even though I said I already had the part. Although they increased the amount I said "okay I'll just do the $275 installation, are you available today?" and he said "yes", but he didn't say any specific time so I said "any time?" and it was followed by silence and then they hung up on me. Thought maybe the call dropped but I've still received no call back. I never leave reviews but as someone who works in service that was just rude and unprofessional. read more

I took my truck 6/20/2024 to Audio FX to have some items installed with one being a aftermarket steering wheel for a toyota tundra 4x4 crewmax for which a problem occurred on the install. One of Audio FX technicians broke the clock spring causing fault code lights to stay on. David Chilin the owner said they did nothing wrong and told me to drive the truck for 20 miles or so and it would clear the codes on its own. 100 miles later fault light still on saying take to the dealer which he wanted me to do but I didn't give him my truck with fault lights on and he was on the hook to fix his wrong but he wouldn't. No accountability for messing up trucks system. So frustrated and almost a week passes by with him not having no solution of fixing it I took it to another shop called Luminex which they are very good with this procedure and they fix the problem in about a day because they had the scanner and software to assist with putting in a new clock spring they ordered through toyota. So I pick my truck up 6/26/2024 from Luminex with receipt in hand and takes it to Audio FX to pay for damages and he refuses. Now on top of that they damaged my front windshield tint they torn because one of the techs felt the need to but a component they took off the truck on my the dash as well as flicking some other kinda of object towards the windshield all caught my dash cam and the owner David still denies. He gets a receipt for the Tinting place and Luminex who fixed the steering wheel issue and refuses to pay for damages. Also one more thing my toyota emblem on the steering wheel got damaged as well. He also admitted that my toyota truck was the first steering wheel job he had ever did period after he said he did many steering wheel but just not toyotas after he fouled up on my truck. Stay far far far away!!!! This place is horrible. I spent $1800 on a system, they promised a lifetime warranty, not long after, their wiring blew my drivers side window motor. I went to them, showed them what the mechanics said (diagnosis) proving to them their wiring was off, the cut the main harness amping other things, they denied anything was done wrong. Took my Camaro to Chevy, who agreed with the diagnosis from Pep Boys. Again, showed Audio FX, they continued to deny their shotty service. I spent $700 replacing the motor and the switch, and truly regret taking my car here. before all the issues I recommended them to 3 friends and they screwed up there wiring too. STAY AWAY read more

I've had two systems put in by them. They do good work. One on my infinti and one in my Silverado.

I do like these guys because they are convenient for me to get to, and they work with you. I went here to upgrade some lights and they were very reasonable with the pricing and did quality work. I have a feeling I will get additional work done at Audio FX because the technicians and people who work here seem honest and very dependable. Ask for Marvin, Alberto, or Martin. First time I came here was March 2019 to get new speakers for my car, great service and very professional, I went back this month because my speakers went out again, the guy told me it was my radio but I didn't think so because my radio was on and working, weird. I took my car to my dealership and they ended up telling and showing me the broken speaker, I had to pay $130 plus for them to run a diagnostic on my radio for them to tell me my passenger side speaker was blown, To add the guy at audio fx didn't even do a diagnostic test on any of my speakers, which I also thought was weird being that their an audio store.... I went back there after the dealership to see if the guy can work on my car but he was already busy and I had to come back tomorrow, that did not sit well with me so I left, but he basically did nothing to help my problem, I spent over $200 plus running around and trying to find another audio place and thank god I found one, (Digital car audio). I don't like putting bad reviews but I feel like people need to be aware of how these businesses run. read more

Brought my 1998 Subaru to tint the windows on a last minute call the gentleman took my car last minute did a great job on the tint. Call me at the end of the day to pick it up look good. This establishment has Progressive Financing. Depending upon the amount of money you spend and approved for determines the amount your initial payment will be which is usually inexpensive. There are no credit checks all you have to do to apply for Progressive leasing is fill out an application, and you will know on the spot the amount you are approved for. Floyd and Marvin are great people. They know what they are doing and their work is fantastic! They work with you, and whatever you want done I'm pretty sure they can do it. These guys suck. It took 5 trips, countless phone calls and 3 full months to get my stereo installed in my truck. First trip, they broke the bezel on my dash. I also had them install a back-up camera that was pointed at the sky. Went back the next day and they said they have to order a new camera because they can't adjust it and that will take a week. They couldn't figure out how to connect new stereo to my trucks amp, so they just bypassed. Broke the dash again on the second trip. Called Marvin every week for 2 months asking when the new bash bezel that he broke would be in. Any day now was always the answer. I finally ordered it myself while standing in their shop in my third trip. Called Marvin when the part came in. He's always too busy on the weekend. Come back for fourth trip. Installed properly on fourth trip, but they disconnected my a/c and forget to plug the module back in causing me a fifth trip. Unbelievable. Three months later and five trips, an Uber expense and a trip to my mechanic to diagnose a/c. These people are completely inept. Showroom is a dump and there are no prices on anything. That's because they're going to hustle you out of every dime they think they can get from you. They should just close their doors and get it over with. Every single time I went there, there were other unhappy clients waiting for Marvin. Store hours claim to be open at 10:00, but they never open on time. Worst experience I've ever had. Customer Service-Great, I called first to ask about the Groupon deal b/c I know how things can change in person. Jesús explained everything as stated on Groupon. He told me I could come the same day which worked out great. Location-Good. You dont need to go to the light and make a u-turn at Sugarloaf & Lawrenceville HWY (the wait can be long with all the cars turning) turn left on Monfort Way & you are right there! Yes I have GPS & none of them said that. Its also inside an Audio car shop so you may not know its also window tint. Timing: Took about an hour. Service-Professional & Courteous, Jesús showed me the different shades of tint which I had no idea how to pick because...Girlie girl...I shrugged & he smiled & explained further. Shop Cleanliness: Its a guy's cave so I didn't expect chandeliers & unicorns. Its a car shop...No A/C but the fan had gale force winds :-) Overall-I would recommend going. read more

DONT COME HERE! I would give it zero stars but it won't let me. Hands down the worst place to have anything done. I bought nice jbl speakers and it took them 3 1/3 hours to put in and it made a rattling sound, so I brought them back and now they are saying it's my fault. On top of all this I got my windows tinted 15 mins prior to coming here and specifically told them not to roll down the windows because of it. They did anyway and messed it up. Then the lady proceeds to yell at me because I didn't put some sticker that says not to roll down the window. Apparently telling them very blatantly was g good enough. Then when I asked for them to give me money so I can have it replaced by the guy that did the tint she says no that she has a guy, who isn't here today. Then when I ask to just get money so I can fix it cause I don't trust their window guy she tells me she needs to call her husband. Read the overall nice reviews and decided to stop by. I recently bought a new Santa Fe Sport and while I didn't opt for the very top of the line model that had the total upgraded stereo, it still sounded pretty good in it's own right. I just wanted to add a sub to alleviate the demand on the regular speakers. I wasn't really interested in a big box that would take up a lot of my cargo space and cover the panels for the under floor storage since I utilize that. They had a Pioneer boxed sub that fit almost perfectly in one of the cut out spaces. I was going to have them install it in a week, but decided what the hell let's do it now which they were able to do and knocked it out very quickly and at a reasonable price.
