You can choose something really simple like a gerbera arrangement and they still craft in a way that makes you realise you could never do it yourself. The flowers are really high quality and they make them according to what's in season at the time. The homewares are simple and very lovely, and they utilise their space well to showcase such a gorgeous array of flowers. They also wrap the flowers beautifully and throw in some plant food. I bought one stem to brighten my house and they were so lovely and treated me like I was buying an expensive bouquet. Such a gorgeous shop. Divine offers a great choice for weddings, Valentine's Day, Mothers' Day, anniversaries, whatever you need. I particularly noticed this in relation to the potted herbs they also had on sale. There are many places in Brisbane where you could get the same for less. The main draw card of Divine Flowers really is their divine floral arrangements and earthy decor available. Just browsing through this shop will make you feel relaxed and happy and they are the perfect place to pick up flowers or gifts that are a little more unique.

Albert's flowers is one of them…read more It's a small shop, but some of the floral arrangements, not that I know much about them are very pretty. I mistook a carnation for a rose the other week and the lovely lady kindly pointed me out the main differences... and made me look ridiculously non-flowerly educated but I thanked her for it. All I know as I said to her, was that this looked pretty and I wanted to buy it for my mum. While prices are a little on the high side, like all florists, you can be guaranteed of a beautiful arrangement if you order from Albert's Flowers... they also have an online service if you're not in Milton, and area a member of the Interflora group, which mean that people overseas can order flowers through them to deliver locally... pretty swish don't you think! So give them a thought or two the next time you feel the need, the need for... flowers... and they won't let you down.

While I was not looking to pick up anything that day, I will definitely remember Pollen Florist for its stunning arrangements, friendly staff, and convenient location.

I must commend them for choosing a name that doesn't contain these words, quite refreshingly different from most other florists. It's also a unique layout. When you step inside you're immediately facing a counter, above which is an open window behind which I suppose the florist works her magic. The narrow room stretches out to either side until, on the left side it opens into a bigger room. There are plenty of flowers and interesting pieces, mainly unique vases. I realised when I left that the word 'florist' is in fact emblazoned down one side of the door while 'gallery' is splashed across one window in large orange letters. I'm not sure how I missed that but it was fun to have some intrigue, if only for a moment.

Instead she usually has a cute little cart of succulents or gifts to lure you in. The Lily Bean really excels in arrangments, particularly for weddings. She spends HEAPS of time talking about what you want, what your price range is, what your colours are and will then come up with something beautiful that (quite astoundingly) is actually affordable.
