I have visited this place a few times when I've taken my daughter to Slippery Rock. They have a wide selection of aluminum or brass items. Some of these can be engraved for a fee. Normally they do run specials. If you want to budget then go for the holiday ornaments. They are unique and make a nice gift. They stand by their work and I like the variety it has. Whether you are looking for city scapes, Amish country, football, wedding, etc. August Wendell has various pieces that can suit your needs. This place is beautiful! My husband brought me here and we had a beautiful bronze plate engraved and a few other things. They have so many gorgeous handmade aluminum pieces (ornaments, coasters, plates, bookmarks, jewelry, and so much more). These pieces are unique. This is a fantastic place to purchase a gift for a newlywed, for an anniversary gift or just for your home. We had the pleasure of taking a private tour with Mary throughout the facility. She was very informative and presented each of the workers to us. She was very kind and helpful. The highlight of the tour was meeting Lenny! He is the sweetest gentleman and has a great sense of humor. He showed us what he does and explained his process on creating these beautiful custom pieces. Thank you for your time.
