The food and ambiance at Karg Bräustürbl was fantastic! Booths that can comfortable seat 6-8 is awesome. It's intimate. And, it's authentic. Things moved slowly on our night there. We were not rushed. We enjoyed playing a few hands and sipping our beer. The Schweinshaxe is crispy on the outside and tender on the inside-- and, large enough to be shared! Our waitress was fantastic. She sat down and chatted us up a bit. She seemed to know all the locals. One local couple came over and was very curious of the card game we we were playing. The Gus in the booth next to us also chatted a bit. It was a great experience. If you're near Karg Bräustürbl, you are already off the beaten path! Stop in a for a great local experience and meal!

Since the only table outside was still dirty we walked inside to try and find someone to see if it was still occupied. The waitress walked by us so fast without asking if we needed help that i thought she was actually a patron. We followed her outside and saw she was really a waitress and asked if we could sit in the corner. So we helped her clear the table from the previous guests and then she disappeared. 5 minutes later she returned and all she could say was "What do you want". really??? how about a freaking menu?!?!
