The burgers here at Malcolm's, you can tell immediately, are made with quality in mind. For my tastes, the burger was a little over seasoned. I'm thinking too much salt, a little too much Worcester sauce or may mushroom powder, I'm not sure, but I found it just a little to extra. If that's typically something you like, go ahead and add an extra star to this review. Quantity wise, the burger was a nice American sized burger which makes for a good lunch in my opinion. Typically oversized portions are not my jam, unless it's lunch because then I can take my leftovers with me for mid afternoon snack. I finished my burger and sides, but was able to take the lady friends to-go portions as my snack. Score! So good burger, but weird location. It's kind of out of the way, and not really next to anything else, making it a destination spot. The poached egg was runny, the ham was flavorful, and the hollandaise was butter-fully addicting. Probably the best I had so far. Wanting something light, my wife ordered Fish and Shrimp Po'boy. I wanted to order this in the first place but I had to choose Eggs Benedict. I tried half of her po'boy, but the taste was disappointing. The oversized bread overpowered most of the filling and the seafood was a bit too salty. The place is a good venue for reunion because of its cool and relaxing ambiance. The side of potato chips is a little salty though. For dessert, I tend to order from their bakeshop even if they already have dessert items in their menu. Some bakeshops sell cheese bread that don't have fillings, which is definitely a bummer. I mean why call it that when you can have all the cheese that you want, right? They also have pan de sal. The pandesal, in particular, is quite tasty. Surprising, for a bakery, there are actually a couple of seats inside. This does add much to the homey feel, bringing up memories of hot afternoons made bearable by a baked snack and a bottle of soda.

Market Market is filled with people and this branch is no different. The lines are super long and there is no place to sit. Best to go somewhere else and use this branch for the Kitkat and Oreo cakes take out.
