The absolute basics; how to wind a bobbin, how to thread the needle, how to sew - you get the idea and they were incredibly patient and made sure I understood how to do everything without making me feel stupid. The next time I popped in I just needed a few fat quarters for a basket I was making and I couldn't quite find exactly what I was looking for.
