The food here is not really authentic Thai. Ordered to go; the Thai Boat Noodle and Krapow Pork The Thai Boat Noodle Broth is sweet, no savory richness, no darkness, no blood. The Broth is pretty much translucent brown. The Krapow Pork; you'd expected to be ground meat as authentic as possible. They were slices of pork. Also they have Green Beans! Not authentic. Also upon bagging the, no utensils or napkins were provided, no sauces or condiments. The food was not edible, eventually tossed out.

If you're looking for delicious Thai food in Long Beach, Aura Thai is a must-try. We go to this place pretty often and recently ordered from them for my wife's birthday party as well and it was such a great experience. They just launched their new party tray menu, so we decided to give it a try and wow, it was a hit! Every single dish was flavorful, fresh, and beautifully prepared. Our guests kept asking where the food was from and everyone loved it. The portions were generous and perfect for hosting a group. Some of our favorites were the Pad Thai, Yellow Curry, Panang Curry, and the Thai BBQ Chicken, everything tasted good. The owner and the workers are genuinely kind, welcoming people who care about their customers. They made the ordering process easy and were very accommodating with details. We will definitely be ordering again and recommending Aura Thai to all our friends and family.

Firecracker wings was the favorite part of our meal that we ordered it twice because it was crispy and had good flavor. The chicken was tender and not dry. If you order medium spice, be prepared because it is spicy. The Orange chicken was crispy yet tangy--definitely helped that it came with rice or it would've been a very sour dish on its own. Drunken noodles kind of was disappointing because it wasn't as salty or flavorful as most places but highlight would be that they used really big/wide noodles. Friendly service. Ambiance is casual.

Yet another amazing trip to Aura Thai. Absolutely loved the yellow curry. It had a wonderful sweet yet spicy flavor to it. It was just what I was looking for on this day! The LARGE thai iced tea. Folks, it's served in a doggon vase. It is large lol Thanks Chris for a great lunch at your place

Delivery food ordered. Received Won Ton Soup, Curry Chicken, Pad Thai Noodles and Thai Ice Tea. All were delicious, no complaints. I gave this place 4 of 5 stars since I did not actually dine at this location. I was not able to experience the full vibe. Food is delicious which is all that mattered. Serving size is decent. Since the food was so good, I actually wanted more and was not satisfied by the serving size provided.

This place is horrible.. ordered pork prik king but I got chicken and they tried to lied that it was chicken.. I literally could tell the difference... I would never ordered from there again.. the fact that they tried to lied and keeps insisting it's not .. went I could tell it's chicken meat ..definitely will go else where!!! Again , came here three years ago ... left a review.. about how bad it was .. now 3 years later .. again .. I wanted to see if there's any changes .. or something.. wanted to try it again .. but definitely I'm done .. this place sucks!!

Goopy drunken noodles. I think the kitchen might be drunk.

This review is going to hurt. Because the customer service is 5/5. But the food is 1/5. 1 star for good flavoring. The rest is pretty bad. The drunken noodles were so stuck to each other it was just a pile of goop that formed to the plate. The only way to eat it was to cut up chunks of it at a time like it was jello. Although ordering it with meat, the dish was filled with veggies for more than half the space.

I've been coming to aura Thai for years and it's been a bit since I've ordered from here but I was shocked with the prices now. I ordered four dishes for pick up and they came out to $70 total not including tip. The food isn't bad but it isn't great either so it's definitely not worth the price. I ordered a fried rice, chow mein and 2 glass noodle salads. I thought it would be about $55 or so. I usually spend $50 for pho for fam of 5 (3 of which are children) or $80 at my favorite Thai place for 6 different plates. I don't think I'll be back

I love supporting local restaurants, I had gotten back into town didn't want to cook. I ordered a pizza from #thunderbolt, as I was leaving I noticed the sign for fire pepper wings. I love wings so I ordered wings 10 minutes was my wait time . It's a cute restaurant you may dine inside or out which I love the option. The wings were yummy will definitely order again. When we arrived home my daughter realized she didn't have her purse called the restaurant it was left hanging on a chair , glad I only live 10 minutes away...

Still worth the drive to Long Beach to get our fill of very good Cambodian food that I've yet to find up north. Parking was still a challenge and I dropped the family in front of the restaurant first so they can join the waitlist. This time I could only find a spot a few blocks away but by the time I walked back to the restaurant, the family got seated. The menu still had the same great options and prices but starting June 1st prices will be increasing. Definitely understandable in this inflationary environment. My favorite every time has been the loat cha with chicken such that the family knows never to ask what am I getting. We've tried the rest of the menu but the family has standardized on their noodle soups or rice porridge bowls. You can count on lots of ingredients, choices of noodles and rich tasting broths. The cha quai (bread stick) must also be ordered as the perfect pairing for dipping. We also ordered the nom sa-kieu (like a fried meat empananda) again and will continue. We ended our meal with a round of iced coffees for the table, strong and delicious. Not bitter at all. Hopefully we'll be back sooner than later.

My dad has refused to eat here before because he felt the service was rude, and after experiencing it myself, I can understand why. I'm sharing this because I hope customer service can improve and better reflect respect for the community.

The food from the photos looked amazing so we thought this would be a good place to try. We entered and it is quite small. Expect to have a bit of a wait during rush hour. They had these cool lanterns, and metal soda signs in Thai. Plus umbrellas below the ceiling. The menu looked really cool, like it was from a newspaper that is colored. The plates had roosters on it. I loved the ambiance for sure. We saw a couple order a few things I asked what they had ordered. One was grilled pork neck and they suggested the Tom Yum Mama Seafood soup and for dessert mango and sticky rice. I also got green thai tea for drink. We got it all mild because my spice tolerant isn't as good as it use to me, and my mom usually tolerates mild as well in regards to spice. The presentation of the food is great. The Soup was so delicious! I'll definitely order again. It had noodles, like thin ramen. The seafood was delicious with the crunchy pork. It blended so well. I love that the soup was sour and spicy. I came in on Saturday with my daughter to enjoy an early dinner. It was around 5pm, and not too many people were dining at that time. I dined in as part of the Yelp Elite Experience (YEE). They greeted me kindly, took my name down and sat us down at one of the small tables against the wall. The YEE include a ramen of my choice and a two-piece appetizer of crispy rice and spicy tuna. I opted for the tonkatsu ramen and ordered an additional one for my daughter even though I knew she wouldn't even finish half. Leftovers for me to enjoy later I also ordered a cranberry juice for her and the rooibos iced tea for myself. I very much enjoyed the iced tea and appreciated the menu recommending it as a perfect companion to ramen. Although it's unsweetened, it had a refreshingly natural sweetness to it. To my ramen, I added black garlic oil and chili paste. The broth was very delicious, flavorful and rich. I'm not a huge pork eater anymore, which I need to remind myself of. I did really enjoy my ramen, however, next time I'll have to try another protein, extra egg instead of pork or give the vegan ramen a try, for my own good. Thank you to our server Mel for being very sweet and patient with my daughter and me. She also explained the service fee very well. Heads up that there is an automatic 17.68% service charge added for dine-in orders. I believe I did see it mentioned on the menu, but the man who sat us (possibly a shift manager?) also pointed it out somewhat quickly. However, there was some confusion upon paying because I had explained to Melanie that I wanted to tip on what the total would have been without the promotion; that's just how I've been taught to tip regardless of there being a free or discounted item on the check. So I was adding it up on my phone to see what "I owed" for service. I confirmed that everything looked good on the receipt and she ran my card without the option of me being able to add an additional tip. Something about how most people won't pay more on top of the included service charge, which I get completely, but I felt bad because I got free items and wanted to leave a more comprehensive tip. I'll have to go back soon and try that vegan ramen and more of that tea

While HiroNori is a SoCal chain, it still feels like a mom and pop restaurant. The crispy rice with tuna was EXCELLENT! Everything you want from crispy rice and spicy tuna. The tonkatsu was delicious! Great depth of flavor. They bring you garlic and spicy paste on the side. I had to add A LOT of spicy paste to get it up to the level I wanted, but while at other restaurants I've lost the broth flavor when adding too much spice, the spicy paste just enhanced the tonkatsu broth. And the pork in the tonkatsu - truly next level. This is probably the best pork I've ever had in a ramen dish. The noodles were also fantastic with the perfect amount of bite. I loved my jammy egg as well. The restaurant itself is smaller, with fun lighting. There is a parking lot which is great.
