I have visited Aura's World several times now to pick up some crystals and other essentials. I've also had the opportunity to participate in a couple of "Connecting with Spirit" group sessions and I had a reading/healing combo with Roman. Staff at this shop are always welcoming, ready to help you with any questions you may have. They also allow you your space to look around and see what calls your attention. In regards to the "Connecting with Spirit" group sessions, Rose is amazing! If you have contemplated having a medium session but just wasn't sure, give this group session a try! Can't beat the price per person and everyone gets connected to spirit. My session with Roman was amazing. He made me feel at ease and felt so welcoming. Then he puts music on his phone and i lay on this massage table. He tells me to breath in and out. Then he touches my head and feet. After 30 min. He tells me how I feel. I said I feel nothing. I have been a loyal customer for years now. And I have had honestly some blind trust in this place. A few years back, I bought some earrings and there was a certain price tag on them and they didn't abide by the price tag. They made up their own price. I love this store so much, the atmosphere is bright and fresh. I especially love all their incense and burning oils, they sell them at great prices. There's a good book selection, as well as tarot. They didn't have the Santa Muerte deck I had, but I had a beautiful conversation when asking about it and some recommendations. What really touched my heart was when the three women working were all helping me find a specific crystal! I explained that I needed a large crystal to put outside with my tree, big enough so I wouldn't accidentally throw it away. I needed it to not be amethyst (fades in sun), to be solid (no selenite or desert rose since they desolve in water) and no clear quartz (direct sunlight could cause a fire, a glass effect). With their help, they helped me find a beautiful tri color calcite that was perfect for me! It's currently outside with a tree I'm reviving. When I arrived, I was greeted and was nicely asked by two different employees (at different times) if I needed help or had any questions. I loved their friendliness. PRODUCTS: I went in just to look around & loved the variety. They have books, crystals, jewelry, singing bowls, incense, tarot cards, candles, etc. Everything was relevant, in great condition and neatly organized. PRICING: I've been to 2 other spiritual shops before and Aura's World definitely has the highest pricing in regards to books and crystals (which were my main focus this visit) but they do supplement that with nice staff and relevant information printed on papers for me to take home. (Ex. I bought a rhodonite crystal and they gave me a paper to keep that explained its purpose) It was at full capacity when I went on this Saturday night, just something to note. I've been coming her for weeks, every Friday they have a guided spiritual meditation class for 10 bucks. Roman guides the group in a spiritual meditation for an hour and a half. You leave drinking relaxed and like a ton of weight lifted from your shoulder. It's my favorite place to be. You walk inside and it feels inviting and warm. Plenty of items and books to choose from and a diffrent array of crystals. What I love about Aura's World is you're not pressured into buying stuff. The clerks are there to answer any questions you may have and point you in the right direction. Need a crystal but not sure what to get? Ask, they are more than willing to help. This psychic I think is named Janet told me false information that led me to a really dark path. She went over the time that was necessary in the tarot reading and asked if I wanted to hear a "yes or no answer from god". I said yes and she proceeded to aske me to repeat what she said and I did, which were I love you god and stuff like that. Anyways this is truly demonic and not really of God, this stuff of angel supervision is nothing but the devil. I've came to Aura's to by crystals and a book or just to get more info but I had to wait for the day I got my reading and healing. I had my reading/healing with Roman. That guy is truly gifted and left me in shock. This was my first reading EVER and all I had to do was say my name a few times and then Roman said the things I needed to hear. I was a bit skeptic. Won't lie.... now I am NOT. This experience was worth every penny. The owner and workers there are super friendly helpful. For a shop like that I'd expect a welcoming feeling despite them saying welcome I do get followed around the store like I'm a thief. I've been in the store more and enough times where I could've been a loyal customer but the sense of judgement and eyes you get coming off some of the employees make you not want to go back. They feel bad sometimes I suppose after once they see me making a big purchase and wanting to say or throw in nice things. I went into auras world last week just to look since I haven't been in a while since my last bad visit. Same stagnant energy. My bf was looking for a bracelet but he has big hands and he didn't like how much he had to stretch a bracelet out to get it over his hand, one of the employees told him in a condescending voice " your not the hulk". We have been coming too this place since it open. We have had everything in there! Necklaces, stones, very big statues, fairy stuff, readings and cleansing... I mean everything! For years we have spent a lot of money here... But today was the day they drop the ball big time with Customer Service! On 12-16-16 I placed a Love Angel on layaway 119.90 was the cost. I gave 25.00 deposit. I had totally forget about because my spouse and my daughter will shop there while I was at work. I was going through my purse cleaning out the receipts and I found an old layaway receipt. I looked at the receipts because there wasn't any directions on how the layaway works or money back or store credit. So I called and spoke too Laura and told her that I have a layaway there and that I had forgot about it. She said "The angel was still there and the cost of the angel was 189.00 now and if you want it it can still use the deposit towards it". I told her no i don't want it its way too much money and that I didn't want it. I told her we are always in there can my daughter use it for credit. She said yes. Today we walked in and nothing is there.. There are expanding the store. A lady help me there I told her everything that happen so she can get an idea of what is going on. She went looking for the angel and they brought it to the front of the store too show my my layaway. Laura comes out of one of the rooms. I am here so my daughter can use the store credit. Laura said no I am not giving store credit. If you want credit you have to buy the angel from us. Now the angel cost 145.00! Are you kidding me! She arguing saying my receipt is 3 years old and that nobody in any business hold receipt 3 years old. She was yelling and arguing back and forth.. Like if I was taking her money or something! I would like to add to the other review that I had not one but two bracelets break within a week after I purchased them and subsequently had them resized here. I also received a lot of attitude and there was nothing apologetic about the conversation on their end for my loses. In fact, they seemed very annoyed with me and swore no one else had made this complaint before. I can see from another Yelp review on this page by "Ari A." that is not true.
