I use this center for my urgent care needs and it's probably the best one around. Unlike other locations, every doctor I have dealt with here seems to genuinely care and try to get to the root of my problem. The wait isn't often long and your comfort is always a priority. Even the nurses are the tops when it comes to patient comfort. I can't speak to the other services offered at this location, but I know that there is a small pharmacy. I've not had to use it though except for some gum one time. It is part of the Aurora/St Luke's system so make sure your insurance covers it I guess. I was in WI from another state. It takes a lot for me to go to the doctor, especially knowing I would be back to CA in 4 days and I was out of my Kaiser network. But, I needed to address my pain, since I will be in yet another state in a 2 weeks for quite sometime to get my son through brain surgery. Too many things are dependent on my health being in check. I went to the closest Urgent Care, which was Aurora Health Care on Loomis Rd in Franklin, WI. The front desk personal were incredibly welcoming and nice. Carrie, an RN took my vitals and Dr. Sussy L King was the doctor assigned to me. These two were also incredible! Their kindness and amazing bedside manners were absolutely the best!!!! All of us know the importance of these traits, as one will never know everything one is going through, besides what the patient is there for. Having had my son experience 'not so compassionate' healthcare professionals, in addition to wonderful ones, the importance of this is vital to a patient in their most vulnerable state in life. I really hope they give a mandatory class to healthcare professionals in the importance of bedside manners and straight up compassion!! I live in Milwaukee and made this trek to Burlington because it's impossible to get an appointment in the city with a psychiatrist. I made this appointment 8 weeks earlier because the Milwaukee locations couldn't get me in until February 2019 at the soonest. I found the journey was worthwhile and the 1 hour drive isn't so bad. I met with Dr. Kalleemullah (Dr. K., as he prefers it) and it was an incredible experience. He was very helpful, willing to listen to my concerns and took the time to listen when I responded to his questions. He expressed some doubts when he asked why I was on a certain med for my issues... but decided, for now, since things are working to just leave it alone. He did add a supplemental drug though. It takes time to figure out what works for each individual as each case is different. The entire crew here was exceptional when it came to making you feel comfortable. It would be nice if they had some windows in the waiting area though. It's small and claustrophobic... hee hee, funny for a mental health office! Everyone had their own duties to perform as an instrumental part of this "machine" and were professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Dr. K. even expressed that if I were to prefer to go to a Milwaukee location he'd stay on with me until I met the new Dr but, we'll see, I don't know if I'll want to change down the line! read more
