If something you are specifically looking for is not in they can almost always get it transferred in from another branch! In keeping with the ever growing digital age we live in they also offer e-books and other digital rentals through the Hoopla App. How simple! I can check out a book from my couch - can't get any easier than that! Aurora Public Library has some really creative programming! The "Explore Aurora Craft Brews Tour" that not only caters to a different type of library patron, but also gets people out and exploring the ever-growing and changing Aurora community. I LOVE it! All the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful with any questions you may have! From getting you signed up with a library card, to locating an item, to research assistance, and programming too! While I may not reside in Aurora any longer; I do go to school nearby and know I will continue to use this branch of the Aurora Public Library!

It is very clean. There's plenty of parking. It is especially great for the kids. When we visited they were having outdoor time on the lawn. The library had lots of outdoor toys for the kids to play with along with much for them to do inside too. They have a cockpit of a plane inside this library! There is even dress up items the children can try on while pretending to fly the plane. My son absolutely loves this. Besides the plane there are plenty of toys for the kids to play with. They've got story time too of course. If you have a little they will absolutely love their visit here.

There's a limit, I can't recall off the top of my head, but it was a fair amount per day. You can get the Kanopy app and watch movies with your valid library card. They have reduced book sales throughout the year, I believe is 3 times. I volunteered at the last one and it was really fun checking people out with their books. I can't believe how many books some people got! The prices ranged from $1 to $5, so it's a great sale. Sometimes they show movies. I was recently told you can check out museum passes -- whattttt!?!? They also have a wood burner machine thing, no idea where it is or what all the random things are that can be checked out here. I need to ask more questions next time I'm at this library!!!

The main library is now open 7 days a week, except for City & National holidays. The elevators are on the east side from the Broadway entrance. Free restrooms on each accessible floor. Lots of parking in private lot when I went. Had to find a place to work remotely while waiting for…read morehouse cleaners. Able to use a study room with electrical outlets to plug in my laptop. Room temps not regulated and librarian apologized for how cold it was. No biggie. Wore my coat and worked. Librarian explained the rules and that I could use the room for two hours and if no one had it after me I could continue to use the room. She gave me the WiFi name and was so pleasant and helpful. The women's restroom was so clean. I was comfortable and able to complete my work. Recommend!

Walk-ability around the parking lot grounds is lovely, fresh cut grass, trees, seating and some shaded parking. The Parking lot is Huge, plenty of room for all meetings and clients! The meeting is immediately gracious at the front desk. To the right side of entrance there is a cafe with Croissant, chia, coffees to your taste and other delights with sitting and "Wifi" Sitting is all around in comfy chairs, plenty of books to read AND, Take a stroll down the beautify stair or elevator. There are desks a plenty, some covered, some large some small. AND a larger meeting room upstairs. Meeting private rooms from 1/2 hour to 3 hours, must schedule in advance!! Personally, I have spent many of hours in this library with my "Service Dog" by my side. Bathrooms up and down stairs, PLUS SEPARATE AREA FOR THE KIDDOS!! I have never had a run in with children as with libraries, this is a well thought out multiplistic public library!!

After several trips in, they finally convinced me to join their membership.
