The interesting thing was that apparently they only sell tickets here during set times, but they were open when I arrived, despite the fact that the sign said otherwise. Kane and Jerry were amazing tour guides, did a great job of managing the 26 people in this tour. We spent 2 nights at the Discovery Resorts close to Kings Canyon. The Rim Walk at Kings Canyon was spectacular- especially the North side. We then spent 2 nights at Sails in the Desert so we could access all there was close to Uluru. At each stop with a hike, they offered 2 options depending on how you were feeling that day. There were several stops to view areas of interest. We went to a couple of nighttime events. They had so much lined up for us. The only reason I took off one star was because at some of the locations where we were passing through, the prepared lunches were really not that good. I would have gladly paid a bit more for a more appetizing meal. But I would certainly travel with them again as they did such a good job of curating the best adventures.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. Had a look around and chat to a few others, well catered for young families and grey nomads alike. Great pool and kids facilities. Courtesy bus available from a nearby pub with decent meals that the staff recommended. Didn't disappoint. Overall, great stay.

The hotel is a little long in the the tooth but furnishing is reasonably new and rooms have been painted recently. The Hotel is located opposite the SS&A club so a short walk to reasonably priced food although the Hotel's own restaurant is where we started each day with a fantastic breakfast. Air con is old and noisy (and smelly - yuk! like someone is breathing on you), tv's are small, the shower head is old and crappy and sprays pulsating water all over the place, beds need changing and are lumpy, housekeeping hadn't changed the light bulb so bedside lamp not working, alarm clock not plugged in. Staff are friendly which is nice but doesn't make up for an uncomfortable stay. I won't be staying here ever again. Best Western is better.

I discovered Quest Albury via a friends referral and I must say he was right on the money. The service was fantastic, the room secure (an important factor in my line of work), very clean, nice lay out and a great view of Albury. Check in was streamlined and I even met the owner operators who are also very personable. The charge back from the restaurant and bar below is great and I must say the whole experience was fantastic with great parking tool. Overall the pricing was right for the area and my only wish was that Quest be in the USA on the east coast. Finally, if you are thinking of a romantic or family get away I would recommend Quest Albury in a heart beat.
