I think the person who served us was David, super friendly and personable. Of course, knowledgeable as well. My friend is part of their "wine club" and I had never been to Paso before. The "cabanas" were intimate and I enjoyed myself.

Stephanie was a very informative and pleasant hostess for our tasting. I wasn't feeling 100% but this was the highlight of my stopover. The tasting room was comfortable and wine was great. Our fav was the Lagrein and Petite Syrah.

Another amazing experience at Austin Hope the last time we were here. So another visit was needed. This visit it was a spur of the moment as we decided last minute. It was thanksgiving weekend on a Saturday so the chances of getting served was maybe low as we didn't have a reservation and was just going to walk in. Well, we were lucky. I did remember that walk in are available so we gave it a shot and it was great. Of course the friendly sweet welcome with a glass or rose to start off. We got seated at one of the hi top tables looking out to the vineyard. Also noticed that there was a good amount of walk in as well being seated next to us. We were served by the same gentleman that took care of our group a couple months back. He was amazing and the sweetest. Of course I forgot his name but amazing at explaining the wines and making sure we were well taken care of. This visit we decided to just get a bottle to share instead of a full tasting. Samples a couple of the reds and decided on one of the Cabernet. Having tried a couple to see which one we like, we settle on the Cabernet as it was easy and smooth to drink. All were amazing and I do remember some from our prior visit. The property is beautiful right when you walk in. Greeted by the hostess with a nice glass of rose. There's the tasting room both to the right and left side. Right side is bigger which has both an upstairs and downstairs area. A few steps to be exact. There's also a small bar area right when you walk in. To the left, it's more of a tasting room experience with the main bar, hi top tables and a living room area. Also holds the retail area with cute gifts. A couple of hats were purchased this visit. The layout is quite nice and wherever you're seated, it's great. You have outside seating pretty much along the property. There's a little patio to the side of the left building as well as the main patio right when you walk in. There, you have all plush sofa and heat lamps. Individually sectioned off to give you a private area. Some look out to the vineyards while some are more enclosed. Perfect for a group. Of course when it starts to get chilly, you have the heat lamps as well as blankets offered. One of the nice winery and tasting room. Also for the tasting, it's quite reasonable compared to others nearby. It's a must next time we're in town again. We did noticed that the Lamas weren't out back unless we missed them somehow.

Outstanding winery. First time here and it won't be my last time visiting. The Cabernet wine is absolutely delicious. So much so I walked out with an extra bottle. Everyone and everything was perfect and inviting. The wine tasting room was modern yet inviting in feeling. The service is very personable and nice. The property is stunning with beautiful oak trees around it. Highly recommended!

This was our second visit to the area, and having recently tried and loved their cab, decided to go for a tasting. And so glad we did! The only other property we have visited is Daou, which is absolutely gorgeous. So it was a little plain around the edges. We were seated outside facing the vineyard, which was pretty but not awe inspiring like Daou. We were greeted with a glass of Sauvignon blanc, and immediately I was blown away. I'm more of a red girly, and usually not impressed with whites. This glass, however, made mamma very happy! Our wine host was kind and gave us the rundown, shared her perspectives, and even let us try a few others to help with purchase selections. We shared the charcuterie platter, which is pre-boxed and fair to mid but nice to enjoy while tasting. We left with quite a few bottles, even though that wasn't our expectation. Overall, even though the atmosphere wasn't as posh, the experience was fantastic. It was much more about trying some new, unexpected wines and meeting new flavors that excited us. We will be back!! A hot tip: It can be hot, even in the shade. I don't think I would prefer the inside experience as much although it would have been much cooler. If you're heat sensitive, plan accordingly.

Everyone is super warm and friendly here! Beautiful tasting areas inside and out. Tasting flight is $25/5. Charcuterie is $35.

My husband and I had never tried any Austin Hope wines prior to visiting their tasting cellar, but we fell in love immediately and left with 7 bottles + a membership. Parking was easy and plentiful. As we walked up, we were greeted with a taste of their Rosé (and our pup was greeted with a treat!), which was a pleasant surprise and very refreshing. I was able to snag a cabana reservation, which was a little more private as the seating areas were separated by bushes. The view was spectacular!! Tastings are $25 and waived with $100 in wine purchases. They were very generous with the tastings, and we went a little off book based on our taste preferences which was very nice. They were very dog friendly and we were able to walk our pup around the property (just not in the vineyard). Overall a wonderful experience and amazing wine, would recommend a stop here if you are in Paso Robles!

Our tasting experience at Austin Hope & Treana Tasting Cellar was wonderful. Marcy was absolutely delightful -- informative, friendly, and helpful throughout the entire tasting. She made the experience feel welcoming and special from start to finish. The wines were excellent, and the atmosphere was perfect for enjoying a relaxing tasting experience. A wonderful winery that we highly recommend when visiting Paso Robles!

We had a medium size group. The reds were great. I am not into white wine. Good times were had by all.

Austin Hope was the last stop of our winery tour. We had a lovely view of the grounds from the patio. It was Outside of a glass of champagne, we were given all reds in our tasting. Our server was great and super helpful. She spaced out our tastings we'll. They also gave us a glass of champagne to cleanse our palates before we headed to dinner. Also the charcuterie board is a great add on. It isn't meant to pair with a specific wine, but it was really nice to have because we didn't eat lunch and this was our third winery of the day. It truly was a lifesaver.

First time here and had the best time. The wine was so good, the music was great, and the property is honestly beautiful. I love that all the tables feel private and the service was amazing. Torey Owens was our server and she was awesome, super laid back and not scripted at all, she just went with what we liked. You can tell she has a real passion for what she does. Ask for her when you go in. Also dog friendly which makes it even better. Can't wait to come back.

    4/28/25 FYI.

Quality/Quantity - After the generous (excessive) pours from Vina Robles, I asked my daughter if we could skip the second winery as I was sure I did not need to drink any more today. But she said she fell in love with their Cab at a company event and really wanted to come here. So here we are... Beautiful setting, private "cabanas" - Sorry, my pictures did NOT do it justice. Two tasting rooms. Atmosphere - See above. Beautiful vineyard. Clean restrooms. Small parking lot, but with the exception of Daou, we were practically the only customers in the other 5 wineries we visited. So easy parking. Open 7 days a week from 10am to 5pm, reservations suggested. But again, not too many day drinkers and/or weekday day drinkers. Service - Good. Actually the least quality of service, sorry. It was not bad, but the other 5 wineries exceeded expectations! See all my other reviews. Price - $150+, I believe for every $100, it waives a tasting fee. See bottom of the tasting menu. I gave all the bottles to my daughter. :) And of course, we found their wines at Costco for cheaper; we are paying for the atmosphere, service, etc. Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1978 and with your 6 brands. Liberty School, Treana, Quest, Austin, Troublemaker, and Austin Hope.

All around amazing! Make reservations. They greet you with a refreshing rose as soon as you enter. All of the staff are incredibly kind. Our server was super knowledgeable and poured generously. The wines are delicious and go great with the charcuterie board. Definitely bought several bottles which they save the tasting fee for. The grounds are beautiful and the thank you location is super clean with plenty of shaded spaces outside and awesome air conditioning inside. A must visit.
