There is not enough parking and instead of addressing the issue the emailed everyone that because you don't park 15 minutes off campus that we don't know where to look and it's our fault. If you need your students to park in "over flow" lots then perhaps you don't have enough parking. Just food for thought read more

Im working on my fourth major so dont take this lightly when i say this school is the worst ran school ive ever seen it really should be shut down and restarted from the top down. I cant tell you how impossible it is to get people to do their job when you need it and how systemic it is. Just do yourself a favor and try anywhere else first. read more

Retirement Goal #1; I just wanted to get my Doctorate, but I got rejected today from Austin Peay State University for counseling psychology with military families and Veterans. I was told that I am perfectly capable, that they have nothing but confidence in me completing the program, and that I'm a good fit. Still, I bombed my interview, didn't call them doctors, and made jokes. I was a team player and facilitated my co-applicant and his ability to give answers and look smart, but they called me self-deprecating. All I wanted to do was boost him up and also display that I was not a cocky idiot and that I was a team player. I am not totally discouraged, but Austin Peay will never be a good fit for me if the decision is not to accept a perfectly good-fitting candidate because they didn't say or do what they expected of a civilian in academia. read more

Public university in Clarksville Tennessee Austin Peay is reminiscent of many colleges to the US with a beautiful brick reminds me of Pittsburgh is Pitt State up in Pittsburg Kansas OSU in Stillwater and Elon University in North Carolina beautiful buildings and it's the home of the governors football team read more

My disclaimer on this review...this is solely based on aesthetics, as I've never been a student here. As a visitor to the campus, during the summer, I was very impressed with it. My son was taking part in a 3v3 soccer tournament put on by Austin Peay's girls' soccer team, as a fundraiser. I don't know what I was expecting, but it wasn't what I found. I was really impressed by the campus...I thought it was beautiful. It looked like a great-sized school, as well. I'd love to have an opportunity to attend a baseball game there...the stadium looked fantastic. Leaving there, I felt like this was a campus we should have our son look into, research and maybe visit in a few years when he is choosing a college. The "cover of this book" made me want to look further! read more

Tuition has been increasing steadily every year. Over 25% tuition hikes in the last four years alone. Also has "free speech zone" and doesn't allow students to exercise freedom of speech or freedom of assembly without first jumping through a bunch of buerocratic hoops and filling out paperwork. read more

I really enjoyed being a student at APSU. I received my BFA with a concentration in Graphic Design. One thing I really liked about this school is all the artist lectures they had to help give insight in future careers and help with art inspiration. The teachers were there to help and wanted to see students succeed. I'm glad I got to be a part of this school. read more

It has been a month and I still cannot get a transcript from them to attend another school and heaven forbid you get ahold of the registrar's office it seems they are never there or do not want to talk to you. This school seems veteran friendly but the only thing they are friendly to is their GI Bill and money. I attended this school for a year and a half and will NEVER come back. read more

Attended undergraduate and graduate school here. Transferred from another Tennessee public university- amazing the difference between the two. APSU's faculty and staff are quick to help/assist students. Also, in a great location convenient to Nashville! read more
