Well, another visit to am emergent care facility for my 5-year old Connor. He was running in the…read morehouse and somehow stepped on a large piece of glass that cut his big toe pretty bad. We think the glass came from a vase that I actually broke a few days before but I must have missed during clean up. We wrapped his toe in a big towel and off to Forum Health we went. When we got there, the place was free from any other patients. I got him registered and we were in with the Doctor in about 10 minutes. Score! The doc took a look at it, cleaned it up and decided it was deep but not deep enough for stitches (Thank God!) She decided to use glue that reminds me of super glue. She applied it and while waiting for it to dry she gave my little man a popsicle. He almost forgot as to why we were there. Once dried, we were on our way. Total experience was about an hour long. What a great visit to the ER if there is such a thing. I am so glad places like this exist. It beats going to an actual hospital ER where you may wait several hours just to be seen and treated. This place is not 24 hours though. It is only open until 11PM. If you want to call this the downside you can but nonetheless it was a quality visit with quality service and personnel.

Very rude service here. I took my wife into this Urgent Care today due to a sharp pain she was…read morehaving. I parked out front in the loading zone, helped her out and into the facility to register, and then I went out and parked the car and came back in. She was already back in triage, which is good. However, I merely wanted to go back to be with her to help her (she was having trouble moving), but the "lady" at window A wouldn't take me back. She rudely told me to sit down and she'd come out to get me, as she had other stuff to do. So I politely sat down and watched her do paperwork and other stuff. Meanwhile my wife is back there. So after 5 minutes, I went back up and this time she was even ruder to me. She was super pissy and was talking to me in a scolding fashion. "Just sit down!" So I dutifully sat down, waited another 5-10 minutes. At this point I got up and went to another registration window (B) and that worker was then told by the lady in A that "I already told him to sit down and wait!" So that lady did nothing and told me to go sit down and wait. It was all very rude and unprofessional. I will never go to this place again. It was an atmosphere of rudeness and not caring. You can imagine how frustrating it was to want to be with your loved one but not being allowed to by a rude lady with a power trip. I do not recommend this facility.
