Little did we know that there would be a huge bonus for us when we walked towards the middle of the shopping center and heard GOOD MUSIC playing. Our eyes lit up when we saw that there was a DJ! My family LOVES music. Everything we do revolves around music and I used to DJ back in the 90s.. yes old school vinyl records in a gajillion milk crates lol. We were eating lunch upstairs at the theater and had a top-down view of DJ MysTori playing really good jams that made me dance all through lunch. I could not control my shoulders from bouncing nor could I control my fists from pumping in the air when she dropped the beat! Proof is in my video! LOL. Not only was this such a fun surprise but she really did bring in all the best jams from various eras. She played house music, EDM remixes of popular songs from the 90s to early 2000s through the 2010s. My kids especially loved when she surprised us with songs from the Kpop Demon Hunters soundtrack. From the get go, she brought positive energy and an incredibly kind spirit, which gave us such a huge peace of mind going into the wedding weekend. She was just as excited for us to get married as we were! One of the highlights of Doralee's exceptional work was how much of a hit she was with our attendees! We had so many guests come up to us the night of the wedding and in the days after complimenting her playlist and skills on the turntables. We wanted a diverse set of music--from 70s disco to modern dance--and as a result there was always a song playing that someone on the dance floor loved. It was a broad request for a DJ to deliver on, but Doralee nailed it. I might be biased, but I've never seen a dance floor stay as active and lively as ours did, and she played a massive role in making that happen. Doralee was also in charge of handling all of the cues and background music for the ceremony, which was spectacular in its own right. Even though she hadn't worked at our chosen venue before, she handled the setup and logistics with class and ensured the little details were taken care of. Again, it made our wedding-day stress levels that much lower and provided such a beautiful ambience to an already beautiful day. Overall, we simply have to recommend VOX DJs for your wedding (or any special event), and specifically Doralee Angelo.
