This place is the worst. I bought a 2010 Ford escape for my wife. I did not notice anything wrong when looking at it and Driving it around the lot. I was told it went through the shop and passed the inspection with nothing wrong. I drove it home about 5 miles away.and I was smoking by the time I got home. We called and they said they would look at it They changed a crank shift sensor and said that was the only problem and boy was that a lie. It has many things needing replaced that have cost me a ton of mo ey so far. The I testify of this place and the people is crap and you can not take them for their word. Can't get ahold of anyone to help with changes I've been trying to make to my loan, got ripped off on warranty and gap coverage (which was my bad for not going over the paperwork thoroughly) but still. None of the terms were discussed and they tacked on an extra $3000 to my 4500 loan. Come on, seriously. Now everytime I need to talk to them, I have to go in there and stay making a fuss on the sales floor so that someone will pull me into the office and "help" resolve my issue. I was over pressured and scammed into buying a car when I there to just look at what was out there. I felt more pressure was put on me when they made it seem like I had to buy a car there or I couldnt leave the lot until I "purchased" the car they showed me. The folks there are nice, but their tactics on manipulating folk like me with financial complications into purchasing a car that I CANT AFFORD, is just wrong. I was never explained what each piece of paper was about, what it said in the details, nor given the chance to read them, they just kept telling me to sign, sign sign! I went back to return the car to this same location and get my original car and money back, but when I talked to one of the managers, I explained to him that this was a huge mistake and I NEVER WANTED TO BUY, PURCHASE, TRADE, OR FINANCE a car and that I was only there to look at my options I felt extremely pressured by the salesman and the manger who I worked with, but instead of being professional and working with me to come to an agreement, he screamed, yelled, threatened me and my boyfriend and made a complete scene in front of other customer and his other employees. I tried to explain to him that there is a used car law in Idaho that allows me to return the car within 10 days afterwards; also in their paperwork contract says the same as well that once I return the purchased vehicle to the same dealership I can get both my car and money back in full. Was sold a total lemon of a car with various issues, they lied about what engine it had, and I learned from the mechanic that the codes it was throwing after I got it had been cleared several times before purchase so they knew about the issues beforehand. When I came to them about the first problem (about an $80 part and an hour of work) they "fixed" it but it was back to doing the same thing 30 minutes later. When I told them about the other issues they said I would have to pay full price to fix the car. It shouldn't have had these issues in the first place but instead they hid them until they could pass the problem onto someone else. Contacted them about returning it since they won't fix it and they offered less than half what I paid becaus enough it's a trade, the only reason I didn't return it the day I got it was because they said they'd fix it. read more

Cader was great!! We did everything online and picked up the car next day with maybe 15 minutes of paperwork. Very fast simple and easy!!! For all the negative reviews. You have to do your due diligence and research on the make /model car you are buying. The more familiar you are with that brand the less likely you are going to get a lemon. Salesmen came in to offer the gap/warranty and i said no and he kindly walked off and said Well, I tried!! I bought a 2018 Dodge journey which i know has a bulletproof Penstar 3.6 motor and transmission, I also know Dodge has little simple nickel and dime interior things that are going to break because they are cheaply made. It had a windshield washer fluid tank leak and a broken line going to the nozzles that spray. No big deal, these are the little things. Bunch of down to earth country boys as salesmen. My boyfriend bought a hummer from them about a month or less ago. His vehicle is now in the shop getting a new engine along with many other things and will have to pay out about $5000 additional dollars, even with the warranty, to get it fixed. This was a hard lesson for us, but I hope this will reach someone out there so they too don't make the same mistake as us. I have no respect for these people and my heart breaks for those who are getting bamboozled by them. horrible experwince! went to buy a car suburban and check engine light came on as I literally drive off lot. turned back and the camshaft was out. they found a Yukon same year and got that. thought that was great and they took care of me. but I literally had to travel out of state and engine light came on half way through trip. then on second trip through states more warning lights came on. got 2 opinions and both said needs a new engine. hadn't even been 3 full weeks from purchase. Called Steve in finance left message no return call. got Rob in service, who told me get the warranty approved and the rest owed to repair he'd try to get on the loan over the 2k. got approved called back twice no response. I'm now left with a busted vehicle afraid it will strand me on side of road and I need to get to work. it's only been a month!!!!! I'd like my down payment back, tear up the loan, and they can get this vehicle back to auction or whatever. but I'm sure I won't hear from them. HAVE ANY CAR YOU LOOK AT INSPECTED BY A 3RD PARTY SHOP! This has been one of the worst car buying experiences I've ever had. I'm not new at buying cars, but here I made the huge mistake of being overly trusting. I guess I just hadn't done it in too long. They tell you that the cars have all been thoroughly inspected. I asked about taking them to a 3rd party for inspection and they said we could, but it would be a waste of money. So being on a tight budget, I didn't... We went here to purchase two cars for our two 16 year old daughters. The sales people were all very friendly. We ended up speaking with Steve Jr. Super nice guy, and at first I felt like he was doing his best to get us a couple of good cars. One car was a VW Beetle purchased for $4,500. Steve actually went out of his way to find this one for us and bring it from Spokane to Hayden. It drove well and seemed in pretty good shape. It did have the check engine light on, but Steve assured us that it was only the O2 sensor and was a cheap fix. I wasn't too worried about that. After we bought it, I ran some tests on it at home. The O2 sensor code did pop, but so did a proprietary VW code. We decided to take the vehicle to a VW dealership and have them give it a thorough look. They knew they wouldn't be doing any repairs, only telling us what needed to be fixed so we could take it back to Auto Credit for repair. This made for an unbiased report. VW came back with $4,300 in repairs that needed to be done. At least half of that was immediately necessary. We took the car back to Auto Credit, and they split the labor costs and gave us the parts at cost. We had them do all of the most important repairs, and the cost wasn't too bad, but it still added to the overall cost of the vehicle. The worst of the two was the Mazda 6 that we bought for $5,500. Our daughter saw this one in the back of the lot by the shop and she really liked it. The car didn't look like it was in very good condition and had a wheel missing. Steve initially told us that we didn't want that car because it had too many problems. We went with him to some of the other Auto Credit lots and saw several other cars, but our daughter was stuck on the Mazda. At this point he had been on and off the phone with the Hayden lot a few times. I told him that our daughter was still stuck on the Mazda, and we might just have to skip that car purchase at the moment since the Mazda isn't a good car. Then he told us the Mazda was fine. He said he was talking about a Toyota that wasn't good before. BIG RED FLAG! I didn't really believe him, but I wanted to. And I wanted to believe that the Auto Credit shop would have the car fixed up good before we took it home. During the purchase, it came up that the car had a rebuilt title. ANOTHER BIG RED FLAG! They assured us that it was ok and didn't negatively affect the history of the car. We bought the Mazda and the VW together and took them home a week later. They had the cars cleaned up very nicely, and we felt good about them at the time. After dealing with all of the issues the VW had, the Mazda started leaking fluids. Mostly oil and coolant. We took the car to Sears Auto Center for an inspection. They showed us the various places oil was leaking from, couldn't find the coolant leak (turned out that a hose was cracked and the pump needed replacing), the transmission was from a salvage lot, and more issues. They said they would never have purchased this car. Auto Credit did the same deal as the VW and split labor costs and gave us parts at cost. The shop manager was nice and seemed to do everything he could to make things right for us. Now it's been a couple more months since the repairs, and it looks like the starter is out. This car is big pile of crap. I blame myself for being so naive, and giving in to what my daughter wanted. She could have been mad at me for a day if we didn't buy the car, and we could have bought a much better car. The sales people at Auto Credit are nice, but super shady. We bought the cars with cash, and they took advantage of that. read more

DO NOT SUGGEST you get a vehicle here. I went into Hayden Auto Credit because I didn't have credit and no credit makes it hard to get into a vehicle. They told me that the only car on their lot that I would be approved for because of my credit was a 2011 GMC Acadia that they had just gotten in. Said that I didn't have a chance getting into anything else with my credit so I decided to get it. I told them that I would get it as Long as they fixed the AC that wasn't working at the time and the window that didn't roll down. They assured me that they would. They fixed the window and charged the AC. The cold air only lasted 2 to 3 days, I drove it back to Hayden (30 min from home) for them to FIX the AC 2 other times, found a ride back home while they "fixed" it. Found a ride back to pick up my car...such a hassle 3 TIMES to have them just charge my AC and have the problem not fixed. 3 months after having my car I started having problems with it. After having this car for 6 months I had to replace the timing chain (a $4000 job at perfection) After being without a car for a month while they worked on it, I finally got it back. 3 days after having it back it left me stranded at a gas station in Athol. I had to have it towed to a mechanic in Athol where I got more bad news...The flex plate had some broken teeth and is going to need to be replaced. I was quoted $1600 for this job. I am totally disgusted. As a single mom of 4 kids who works her ass off, I'm just done. I still owe $9000.00 on this Pile of Crap and I have so much money into it that I can't even try to trade it In. So here I sit with NO CAR once again and I will NEVER consider getting another vehicle here and I suggest you don't either. This place did NOTHING to try to make shit right! read more

I bought a car from the dealership in January And in just over 4 months I've had the radiator hose blow the valve cover gasket blow the tire fly off at 80 miles an hour the lugs brake a 2nd time and had the clutch go out I do not recommend buying anything from this dealership they lied about the damage on the vehicle when I purchased itall they have to say is it is my problem and left me at the point of having to talk to Attorney General's in multiple States call the federal trade commission and call Better Business Bureau along with having to retain an attorney to pursued with a lawsuit so I can try and get out of a car that I owe 8 times what it's worth at 36apr that my son can't ride in because it's a death trap read more

Just plain scadlalous! They sell people lemons. I understand that when buying a used car that there may be some issues, but since day 1 my car has been a piece of junk!!! I've only had it about 4 months and I have been in there 15 times for several different issues with my car. I've tried multiple times to take my car in and they keep telling me lies for money. I dropped my car off on a Monday and the next Saturday my warranty ran up, they let my car sit there for 5 days to then proceed to tell me that they fixed nothing because my warranty was up! This place is nothing but an absolute joke! They do the bare minimum. I purchased my car from here and I strongly recommend you do a little more research and pick a better dealership!! They are nice to you until you purchase a car and then it's pretty much your on your own after that. They do not care about their customers they just want the money.. My husband and I have been in the market for an SUV..We were referred to auto credit sales. After looking over their inventory we had found a few SUVs we were interested in test driving. I contacted the Hayden location and spoke to a salesman there..he was extremely helpful and upon speaking to him we had arranged a time to head over and take a look at some of their vehicles. Upon arriving there we were greeted by the salesman and both vehicles we had inquired on were pulled up front and ready to drive. I felt the salesman had our best interest and truly wanted the best for us as this was going to be a family vehicle. Unfortunately we did not qualify for the vehicle we had wanted but we were given an amount that we could work with. After browsing the inventory with a budget in place we found a vehicle we had wanted to take a look at..the very next day we had arranged to meet again. The vehicle we were inquiring on was located at the spokane location. The salesman had the vehicle transferred over to the Hayden lot and after speaking with him he said he would take the car for a test drive himself and give me a call before 1 pm if he felt it was a waste of our time. We did not receive a call so as planned we headed back over to Hayden. About 5 minutes before arriving he had called to inform us the vehicle was trash and unfortunately had a blown head gasket. He stated that he had test drove it and it drove beautifully so to be sure he had their mechanic run a diagnostic on it and he was bummed with the bad news because he really thought it would have been the vehicle for us. However since we were minutes away we decided to swing by anyway and see if maybe there were other vehicles we would be interested in looking at. After arriving to the dealership we were greeted by the salesman and we discussed the issue with the vehicle. I asked him what do you do with vehicles that are in bad shape. Do they fix them? If so I would still be interested. He said they would send it off to an auction and get rid of it. What I failed to mention above is my father runs a mechanic shop and it had been known from the start that any vehicle we were interested in had to be inspected by him. While we were talking..this beautiful 2006 Jeep Commander limited addition comes rolling around from behind the shop and parked on the lot along with all the other vehicles for sale...This my fellow yelpers was the vehicle I was told had a blown head gasket and would be sent off to auction and here it was placed right before my eyes back on the lot FOR SALE! So moving along my husband had asked about a 2004 Dodge Durango that was listed for sale online. The salesman ran in to make a call to the location it was parked and minutes later and I'm not exaggerating..we are talking 2-3 minutes tops comes back out to tell us this too had a blown head gasket as well and was garbage. But it's listed and parked on a lot for sale...Now what are the odds???!! Every car we were interested in had issues?? Is it because any car I would show interest in would be inspected by a mechanic?? Who knows!! What I do know is that both of these "Trashed" vehicles up until today have been listed for sale online. And the Durango is still listed...so beware! I was truly bummed out leaving with our family of 4 crammed in a little SUV BUT after a little research and based on other reviews I have read through and of course what I witnessed it seems it was all a blessing in disguise. As for the salesman I really felt he was a good guy and for that reason alone I will not mention his name...I would like to think he was looking out of our best interest rather then denying us a vehicle for the fear of me getting a second opinion and potentially tarnishing the work ethic of their "mechanics" who supposedly inspect each and every vehicle before throwing in on a lot!! This place has the worst customer service I have ever seen in my life. I test drove 5 different vehicles, all were dirty or had a cracked windshield..etc, they misquoted me on the price by $5000. They also told me I had to have the service contract because that is what the finance company wanted and got mad at me for cancelling it. they left me very frustrated. The finance manager in Hayden Autocredit sales won't even talk to me, switched me to the manager and he didn't give a shit about it either. They only gave me one of my licence plates back because it was to hard for them to remove it, when I realized this I had to go back the next day and remove it myself. Luckily my back is going to rewrite the contract at a lower interest rate without the unnecessary service contract. These are some shady people working here from the sales people to the finance manager and store manager. I recommend staying away from these assholes!!!!! The Post Falls autocredit people have good people working there and seem to have some integrity about them. Tim helped my girlfriend and has nothing but great things to say about them. read more
