I'm really surprised that this service has received 5 star reviews. I wasn't impressed at all. At…read morethe end of the day anyone can clean a car with a bit of soap and water, but care and attention to detail are what makes the difference and I didn't really feel as though these guys really cared. For example, they sprayed my dash and steering wheel with cockpit shine but failed to wipe it over with a cloth so now it's slimy and sticky. It's simple little things like this that take just a few seconds but ultimately make all the difference. In fairness, they arrived on time and were finished within 30-40 minutes, so it's a very timely and efficient service in that respect. However, I found it very expensive at £30 given that a budget valet which is EXACTLY what we received is listed at £15 on here so I feel a bit ripped-off. Personally, I won't be using G&J Valeting again but I think they're a fairly new company so I guess there's always room for improvement!

As far as handwashes go this place is OK. I mean, its a good service, not the cheapest and its in a…read morereally handy place. But I do have not-so-fond memories of pulling off the road here, entering a queue of about a dozen cars waiting for my turn to be washed. I waited for ages before I started calculating how long it would take in all. I measured each car was taking approximately 6 minutes and there were 10 cars in front of me. You do the math! (as they say) so I wasn't prepared to wait an hour for a 'handy' handwash so I tried to get out of the queue. No can do. Here the queue was so tightly packed (in order to stop it spilling out onto the main road) that there was no chance. So I had to actually wait around 40 mins in the end before it was my turn. Now fairs fair - there isn't usually that many people in the queue, but i have been to other places which aren't nearly as slow so they could have done better. After that disastrous experience, I'll always check if there's a few cars in front before pulling off the road!
