In April of 2006 this place left me and my companion in an embarrassing lurch. Once we reached this leg of our return trip we were told we couldn't proceed to GA and AL as planned. Judging by their reactions to us as African- I Americans, we obviously were victimized by their bigotry. Luckily we coerced them to drive us to the car rental facility. I completely agree with the first reviewer. I was in the exact same situation where I was looking at the car options less than 3 weeks out an inquired about a route from VA to CA. When asked about the flexibility of the owner, Bernie replied "Now think about this... if you were the owner would you want to wait another 12 days for some one to drive their car?? I don't think so." When a simple 'no' would have sufficed. The rest of the email exchange was equally rude, unprofessional and insulting. I have officially decided to fly west instead. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. AWFUL!!!! I was quoted 4-5 days for my car to be delivered. I'm a reasonable person so I understand unforeseen delays. However 11 days later, with abhorrent communication and a scolding from the company, I'm STILL waiting for my car. I'm actually terrified to see what condition it's in!!! I'd never recommend this company and have contacted our home station military base to advise them against sharing their contact information as a car transporter. They say that experience of poor service travels by word of mouth quickly. It's my mission to make that happen for this company. Abhorrent service!!! read more

Terrible experience! Bernie was friendly and helpful while taking our money, then immediately became unhelpful and rude when he had our vehicle. When we arrived on the west coast and called about our vehicle we were told it had not shipped yet - 30 days after we dropped it off. Gas prices had gone up, so Bernie demanded more money in spite of the contract. He knew we were 1500 miles away, so he just sat on the car until we paid $300 more to start the process. Upon dropoff the driver demanded $150 more! Also, once he turns your car over to a driver he will claim he no responsibility for anything. He was profane, mean, and awful to deal with. Military beware. He prays on the armed forces because he knows they're typically overseas and unable to defend against his predatory tactics. read more
