When I refused, he said he won't give me his car for my test if I am not up to his mark because the practical test guy will pull him to one side and get angry at him for getting students to him who are not prepared to give the test! Btw, I've been driving for 18 years in another country and am absolutely ok in my driving. Just needed to learn UK rules of the road and he has already made me take 16 hours of lessons!
