WORST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER. We have been waiting almost an entire year to receive our tags from a car purchased here. We NEVER received our contract and the car salesman, Alberto was extremely unprofessional. The entire experience was overwhelming. I tried to give it a good shot and be optimistic. We tried a couple cars. In between luxury and work type of car. The cars were ok, can't expect much from a lower end car dealer. We sat down with the guy who goes over all the numbers Alberto. I wanted to test drive because I feel it's important to get the feel of the car before we invest any type of monetary decisions. Especially because of the different ranges of cars we were looking at one luxury and the other a work truck. As soon as we sat down we got a big narrative about how they are expanding and that they don't really need to sell a car to us because they make millions a month. Anyhow the guy also explained to us that you "CANNOT TEST DRIVE ANYWHERE, AT ANY DEALERSHIP", until you agree on how much you want to buy the car for. That caught my attention because we just came from a different dealership and they let us test drive no problem. I had mentioned that to the rep., and he said "I'm not here to argue". I had no intention to argue, I simply just wanted the truth. You can't go around lying to your potential clients like they live under a rock and don't know what 1+1 equals. If I'm going to invest cash and buy a car outright I want to check and test drive. I don't need a "full experience", I was just asking for the basic concepts. Anyhow needless to say, we left. Not buying a car here. Experience was mediocre. Thank you for your reply. I fully understand that dealerships need to make a reasonable profit and that pricing negotiations are part of doing business. My offer was simply a starting point based on my own market research and comparable values. Negotiation is not personal it's business, and I respect that. What I do want to clarify is the sequence of events regarding the test drive. Under standard California dealership practices including verification of a valid driver's license pursuant to the California Vehicle Code §12500 and routine documentation procedures test drives are typically offered as part of the normal evaluation process once a customer expresses interest. In my case, the opportunity to test drive the vehicle was not meaningfully presented until I was already leaving the dealership. By that point, the interaction had shifted almost entirely to pricing. From a buyer's standpoint, it is difficult to align on value whether referencing KBB or any other pricing guide without first being able to evaluate the vehicle through a proper test drive. You mentioned my offer of $20,000 on a $41,000 vehicle. Of course, if a dealership asks a customer what they are willing to pay before the vehicle is fully evaluated, the number may reflect a more cautious position. A test drive and thorough review often help narrow that gap because it allows the buyer to assess condition, performance, and overall value firsthand. Regarding paying cash, I did not expect that payment method alone required a discount. I simply stated that I was prepared to purchase immediately if we could come to terms. I'm not attempting to present an incomplete version of events only my genuine experience as it occurred. These people are a crook. I paid full price of a 2015 model of Mini Cooper Countryman edition since it appeared good during test drive. Besides teh full payment I paid $2800 extra for other thinsg they asked like state registration, paper transfer and something like an insurance to check car durability for next 1 year. I sensed as I had made the payments , their employees - Alberto and his team started behaving maliciously both on their property and over calls. It felt shameful to be an Indian woman and deal with their people with the kind of language and behavior they had put on display! I ended up feeling cheated as I approached their business for further information on car as it started giving trouble in first month. Their people used terrible language and and scary tone to make me feel scared on their property and it clearly tehir code of conduct running such businesses in illegal and shoddy ways that no Indian woman should associate with as its a business of a bunch of failed people who represent the worst population of American societies which no respectable woman should have to deal with! Horrible. I bought my very first car at 18, Lexus IS250. While looking at the car Alberto was rude saying there's no point in helping unless we bought the car. First trip ABS, check engine light, steering control flickers on. I contact the dealership and they offered to fix but it never got anywhere. Bought a truck here and when I make a payment I call before hand to let them know it will be sent they take down my information to know that I paid it BUT 2-3 days later they call me asking if I made the payments they are very unprofessional and lack communication between staff members, once they called me 3 times around 8pm on a Monday night. I would give 0 star if I could. The first day when I went to visit them, the actual sales guy was not there, so another guy showed me the car , which was in the back, packed like sardines with one car in front of the other. Then the guy tells me he wont let me test drive, and not even take it for a pre-purchase inspection. I walked out telling him this was not a good experience, if you can't let your prospective buyers test drive your used cars, nor let them be inspected by mechanic. On Sunday, i get a call from the sales person, Alberto, that i should set an appointment for Monday for a test drive. I did and showed up on Monday, the sales guy forgot I had an appointment, and obviously he was not prepared as the 20 cars in the front had not been moved. I think these cars are strategically placed so that there is no way to test drive, until all 20 cars in the front are moved. He tells me to come the next day for a test drive and also get a pre-purchase inspection done by my auto shop. On tuesday when I call on the way to the lot, Alberto tells me the car has a transmission issue. I still wanted to come and try it out, as I was halfway there, and I had taken time off from work; but I think they did not want me. In the end, he said I was rude and he did not want to do business with me. In a nutshell, it feels like they are looking for suckers who will buy the car without proper inspection and less work to them, so that they can off-load bad condition cars to the buyers. read more

If I could give this place negative five stars, I would. When we came in, we were promised everything under the sun, including the car was checked thoroughly and would be trusted and have no problems trying to get us to buy every extended warranty under the at the same time, probably, because they know everyone will need it with their unreliable cars they sell they know their cars are junk. When we brought the car back in for missing pieces that they promised would be there and were never ordered and never came in. And when they were when they came in, we were told to fix it ourselves. Also I was driving with 3 young children in the car on the first week of having it, the car gave out and when we told these owners, the concerns they said, well you bought a used car, what do you expect?(I've read they have said that to quite a few patrons then threatened them to never come near their car dealership) So you're telling me you sell junk cars and very unsafe cars. My car is literally falling apart on the door where it's being held on by duct tape that we found through an investigator our rugs are duct taped down and the back. Bumper is not fully screwed in like someone had dismantled this car to pieces and then duct-taped it back together. Every time we've tried to speak to them, they will not speak to me because I am a woman, they are sexist and I told them I will go to the news and they told me to go to the news, which is good for them, because my best friend is an investigator on the news.So they are being investigated, and we are in contact with attorneys and BBB and the state department for their shady and unsafe behavior 7 on your side is now involved because of how unsafe their cars are to drive in and the number of complaints they actuallyhave against them, do not buy from them, do not put your children in these cars, they are unsafe. They are liars, they will tell you anything and everything. Especially the salesman Beto who brags and brags about how great he is, and yeah, he could sell ice to an eskimo, but he can't keep up a word of a promise and the owners are the worst human beings I have ever met you can tell they dislike women in their country. Their rude because I'm a different nationality then them and their rude because i'm a woman and they continued to be so disrespectful even while walking out. My lawyers will begin contact with them because of my disabilities, and they knew about these. So now it's a discriminatory matter, it's on top of a selling something that does not work! They had us take it to their mechanic after bugging and the guy same type of person said he needed it for days and he was suppose to change battery and struts, check the brakes and shocks but he charged the battery which did nothing and he dented my car and claimed nothing was wrong with it,this after only a week and them claiming well keep up on maintainance which is funny because 2 other mechanics found a multitude of problems they couldnt happen in a week and a few days, so they must have that mechanic keep his mouth shut so they don't look so bad. Oh ya still without everything and paying for a piece of crap. And to the owner who claimed when we went back in to go over the long list that happened in 1 week, his response was "as long as it turns on on their lot, they sell it" which is far different from betos nice story about how well checked and safe they are. You should put the Rolex and ego away and humble yourself, have a conscience. The owners need a new career worst humans EVER taking advantage of people they know need a car. SHAME ON YOU OWNERS!!! Where do I start.. Let's just say these people seem to have a good smile on their face when selling vehicles until you start noticing the negatives about them and their vehicles that they sell. I get it, it's your job to sell vehicles but please be genuine and care about your customers at the same time. Once you buy your car from this dealer, you're all on your own. If you change your mind on not wanting the warranty or wondering where your plates are because it's been months without one, or your car starts to fail on you after 5-6k miles of driving it smooth without abuse, you're on your own. These people will not help you but get mad at you for wanting to get rid of the car or speak up about feeling played because you haven't gotten the help you received. I purchased not only the expensive warranty but their GAP insurance as well as drop a hefty down pay for my car, only to be treated like complete trash. I called to remove my expensive warranty because it would not cover much of what was going on with my car, only to be met with an argument of "buy a cheaper warranty then, why do you wanna get rid of it? That's a dumb idea." Okay, I still don't want it. So they finally removed it, now to get my money back for it was another trip. Now, here comes the letter of my vehicle's GAP insurance being canceled because they never filed to place it on my car. I contacted the GAP insurance company only to be told that it was indeed never filed, so I call, email, and text Auto Race only to be ignored. Busy people? Sure but it doesn't take long to reply to any of those 3 if you care enough about your customers. Keep in mind every time I reached out I was very respectful, never doubted them of their services and was STILL treated like this. Onto the vehicle I purchased, I drove it up to 6k careful miles only for it to start having small issues i fixed myself after having no help from Auto Race and questionable knocking noises in the motor. Im a mechanic myself and work as a tech. I surely can figure it out quick so I happen to just pop off the oil filter cap and low n behold, chunky metal shavings arrived. Keep in mind I did check the oil levels regularly when I bought the car. Nothing ever seemed wrong and oil stayed the same level. I contact them and told them about it only to be ignored again (called, emailed, texted). At this point, I gave up and sold my car to Toyota at a loss of about $18,000. No hard feelings towards them I understand they're business people and I happen to be one who unfortunately got the ugly end of the stick. But I highly do not recommend this dealer to anyone looking to have a good connection with their dealer for help or any questions and concerns about their very expensive purchases. Please Auto Race, work on your communication and honesty to make other buyers more trustworthy of your company and cars that unfortunately don't end up being in good shape.
