Stoltenberg Automobile is primarily a Toyota dealership, but they are also an authorised BMW…read moreservice centre. I booked my car in for an oil service last week, and today was the scheduled day. I dropped the car off this morning, and by 1pm the car was ready for collection, nicely valeted inside and out. As well as the oil service, I had asked them to diagnose my climate control system which hasn't been working at all for the last couple of years due to a leak in the system. They successfully identified the problem and provided me with a repair quote which was half what I was asked in the UK. Unfortunately they didn't have the part in stock, so I have scheduled the repair for next week.
I was provided a nearly new Toyota Auris as a loaner, although I was charged EUR16 for the privelege. BMW dealers in the UK have always provided me with a nearly new BMW as a courtesy car, and they never charge for it. Still, This isn't a BMW dealership so I didn't expect a BMW. The service itself (both car and customer) was very friendly and efficient, and the only reason I've only given them four stars is because they forgot to stamp my service book - so the onus is on me to remind them to do it when I take the car back for the air-con repair.

When I took the car in for the air conditioning repair, it was done promptly and quickly for a reasonable price - and this time, they gave me the loan car free of charge. Because of that, I have re-evaluated the rating to 5 stars. I dealt with Herr Basol, who is really very friendly and made an extra special effort to help me even though he speaks very broken English, and at the time I spoke next to no German.
All in all, a highly pleasant experience. Okay, okay. As pleasant an experience as getting your car serviced/repaired can be.
