Horrible, got 1 car had to replace it and the second was also horrible, had to replace it too...

I bought a Hyundai Ioniq 5 on September 23, but from the very beginning, everything was problematic. I was forced to pick up the car during the week, even though I had clearly stated in advance that I couldn't do so until the weekend. As a result, it was dark when I took possession of the vehicle, and I didn't notice a crack on the windshield at that time. I only saw it the next day. Since then, I tried contacting them several times, but despite my calls and messages over several weeks, I received very few responses. On top of that, they dishonestly included an accident insurance that I had expressly refused during the negotiation, and I had to cancel it myself. To top it off, their attitude was disrespectful and evasive, always trying to avoid taking responsibility. I ultimately had to dispute the $300 deposit through my credit card to get any form of resolution. I absolutely do not recommend Automobile en Direct. Horrible experience!!!!! Where do I begin!? I purchased a car about 3 and half weeks ago. Things where off from the get go. They booked an appointment for the pickup and canceled the night before. They're Volvo needed to do a few updates before I could have the car. I was fine with it. They call me a couple of days later to let me know it was ready. So I booked and appointment for 5pm .I got there at 4:30pm to make sure they don't wait on me! I sat there for an hour waiting. The receptionist was very nice and kept calling them. After the second hour, I threatened to leave and forget about the car. That's when someone finally came to see me. That should've been a sign not to get the car. Two day after the pickup a panel pop out. So I contacted the after sale service. They said they'll order the piece and call me back which they eventually did. By the time they called me I had found other defects on the vehicle. The bumper was not clipped in properly and the door was not level with the body of the car. When I brought it to thier attention the told me and I quote " we are not going to do anything about that because there's no danger and if you want we can refer you to an affordable body shop ". According to the carfax and the inspection by Automobile en direct everything was in perfect condition and there were no accidents. As you can clearly see in the pictures that was a lie. I get it if I bought a car for 5000$ I should a few bumps and bruises. But when you pay nearly 40000$ for the vehicle I expect it to be in excellent condition! Never again will I deal with them again. If you go there make sure to inspect the vehicle thoroughly don't take their word for it. I was told I have grown to return the car since they didn't include the defects on their reports. So that's where I'm at. They don't even deserve one star but sadly that's not an option. Used car sales people have a bad reputation and usually I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt, but these people are snakes in the grass. Had an appointment to look at a car and arrived on time to a large dealership that was gleaming and clean. The car we wanted to see looked great and the test drive was flawless, we were ready to sign and take her home that night! This is where the fun begins. Roxanne was our sales woman and within about 2 questions into the contract, it was clear that she was in way above her head. Every...single...line required her to go to a back office to talk to her manager. After the 5th time, it became more than annoying. We had negotiated winter tires and a few other things that are the normal here in Quebec. She turned her keyboard to me and had me type it up, what?? I'm not sure if she couldn't type because of her eagle talon'esque nails or because she couldn't spell 'tire', but whatever, contracts are my jam anyway. Finally I guess even her manager clued in that he should come out and talk to us instead of this messed up process. He basically smiled and nodded, read the amendments and then happily took our Visa for the deposit and ran it through. As soon as it cleared, he started saying that winter tires wouldn't happen and started arguing about several other points that were already ok'ed in the various back and forth negotiations, it was clear that this was just 1000% dishonesty and not going to end well. We asked for our deposit back and the manager stood there with his arms crossed basically calling our bluff 'over tires'...no dude, it's about you straight up lying to us more than once. We are the only clients in the entire dealership at this point and all of the staff was staring at us. Poor Roxanne had a completely dumbfounded look on her face as her boss tanked her a sweet commission as the receptionist sheepishly ran the card for a refund and we walked out wondering how these people remain in business. **WORST USED CAR DEALER** i purchased a vehicle from them (Laval location) back in December 2023. i had several issues with the vehicle since i purchased it. After 3 mths of back and forth to try and fix all the issues, there are still some issues with the vehicle. When i called them back to have a road test done with them to make them see/hear the issue, they tell me that there is nothing else they can do about it.. I WOULD NOT RECOMEND THIS DEALER TO ANYONE. read more
