I normally go here for parts on all my vehicles. They are normally very helpful and nice. I asked the polite salesman if he could help me install a turn signal bulb. Quick and easy is what he said, but the female manager (assuming) said that he could not go outside as they were busy and she had something else to do. And that if I wanted to come back tomorrow they could help me. He apologized and said he couldn't help me. Manager has something to do that's more important than a customer??? Just sad. read more

Completely dead battery, car won't start. Took it to this AutoZone which is supposed to replace the battery for free, just to be told my car has "automatic start stop technology" so they can't change the battery for me. My car does not have automatic start stop technology, and the replacement would have been extremely standard, but they insisted they couldn't do it, even though they advertise free installation. read more

The two young guys working here were just fantastic. Super nice, and they went all out to make sure we got the right part. We were looking for windshield wiper blades for a Ford Edge, which have an uncommon "European-style" attachment. They opened up several wiper blade packages their computer suggested, but none were right. So they sent us to the "warehouse store" on 190th. But before we left, they printed out the part number so we could be site to get the right one at the other store, and it turned out we needed it because the computer at the other store also suggested the wrong part. read more

I may have a leak, but the dealership cannot check until next Wednesday. I purchased coolant from Alan. He was extremely nice but what impressed me most was his safety instructions. He stated that I should add the coolant after the engine has cooled off. Otherwise, there is a possibility of a flash back which could cause burns. I either call AAA or go to the dealership. Incredibly rude and unhelpful staff. I came in to have my engine light checked and was handed a machine without a word spoken to me. When asked if I had to do it myself, I was laughed at for asking and further laughed at for not knowing how to use the machine myself. The only helpful thing these guys did for me was tell me the part I needed. I was too unhappy with my experience to actually purchase the part from this particular Autozone. I bought a remanufactured alternator had it installed and a day later my car starts dying so i had my battery charged and checked said it was the alternator so i told them i just bought it from this location and then they checked my alternator said there system wasnt too advance to check it so i went to the mechanics across the street they checked it for $20 said they sold you a bad alternator so i had the mechanic take it off and returned it and bought a brand new alternator i asked for a discount for the trouble and extra charge the mechanic charged me since it was double labor they said they couldn't do anything about it. At 838 I arrived to the location to buy a battery for my kia optima 2016. I called before to see if they have the battery and they said they had the battery and they were closing at 9. I arrived and they sold me a battery but told me they couldn't install the battery due to it being dark even though I am a single woman. They let me borrow a tool to try to replace my own battery, as I'm trying to replace it I noticed that the battery was different from the one I purchased. One of the employee came out to let me know they about to close their doors to tell me that the battery I have is not the right battery.  I asked for my refund since it's the wrong battery and I used my credit card. They told me they couldn't refund me and I have to wait in the morning knowing they sold me the wrong battery. I asked for a manager information they told me it was on the receipt. What I asks is for Auto Zone re train their staff on what to do when a woman comes to the location on a tow truck due to a dead battery to have better service. I had to get a tow to this location because they said they had the battery for me to be sold the wrong battery and left outside with a broken down car. The location was 13765 Hawthorne Blvd, CA, 90260 in the City of Lawndale. So Now I have a to get a tow from the location to the dealership which will cost me more money to handle. I needed a clutch disc replacement for my car. I had no clue what to ask for but Alicia was so helpful. I gave her my car's info and Alicia helped me step by step. Pardon my French, but screw Auto Zone. I will never purchase from them again. A few months ago, my battery died and my boyfriend decided to buy a replacement at this establishment. After giving my car information to the representative, they gave him a few options of batteries to purchase for my car. He purchased one with a warranty. Jump to a couple months later and the thing dies on me. Luckily, I have AAA and they were able to come out and give me a jump. Upon the technician checking out my battery, he tells me that I have the wrong sized battery which is not powerful enough to keep my car powered. He then SHOWS me documents telling me which battery my car should have and points out how the tray to hold my battery has a huge gap in it because the battery is not the right size. Well, F*** me sideways. I I head to Autozone to relay this information and without even LOOKING at my car, the gentleman (whose name escapes me) tries to diagnose the problem. Smooth. He must be psychic or something. I relayed the information the AAA tech gave me and they scoffed at it. Finally, they decide to look at the car and tell me "it's probably your alternator." Yeah. Probably. And the fact that the battery isn't the right size has nothing to do with it? They don't even test the battery. They tell me, "well, you have a warranty, so we'll replace it for you with another of the same." Um. Why would I want the same one if it's just going to happen again later. Do they care? Nope. Just give me a "probably" diagnosis and send me on my way. Skip this place. I will never ever give them my business again. read more

I called and asked if they had a certain part in stock. They did not, but said that they could order it and that it would be ready for pick-up the next day after 3pm but that I had to pay for it first. So I paid for it over the phone with my cc and they said that someone would call me tomorrow once it arrives. Needless to say, no one ever called. Today I called them and they claim that the "order was cancelled" and they have no idea why. Needless to say, they conveniently didn't cancel my cc charge when they cancelled my order and so I asked that they refund me. In order to refund me, they claimed that I have to print a print out of my cc statement and drive all the way over to them and show it to them. I told them that this was unacceptable and I could give the the cc confirmation number over the phone and they should refund me the same way that charged me. Why should I drive half an hour to their store (each way) because of a mistake they made, and still not get my part?!?!?? They put me on hold for 15 min to try to "figure it out" and returned to say that someone would have to call me back later. Not holding my breath.... read more

Can't believe the mistreatment of customer service from this branch. Bought a faulty battery from another location. I go back to original location, they test say they have to replace. But they don't have the same one. I get sent to another one that tests the battery, it comes back faulty. They say they are gonna replace, but don't have it. They call another location (this one) .... They have it. And that's when the problems began, cuz when I walk into the door of this particular autozone, the clerk says it needs to be tested and we will now know tomorrow. Even tho the past two autozones I visited that morning both agreed to replace, and tested. they just didn't have the right battery. He says his manager is on lunch and that I'll have to come back. Since this has taken up an entire day off, I'm a lil irate that I can't just get this faulty month old $200 battery replaced. . The manager comes in and keeps calling me boss, and that he will replace it but please to never come back and that somehow I'm the problem and that I interrupted his lunch.. Wouldn't even let me finish a sentence. I go yo autozones cuz of the products and customer service quite a bit. I'd say stay away from here, and go to one of the ones that are a few miles away with nicer management. A simple call between stores would have been a way to simply diffuse this issue.
