I would not recommend this location. Daughter went in first battery replacement... battery terminal was broke during exchange so had to make additional trip to get a new one. Tech did not seem experience. Sold us battery terminal that didn't work so just went to Oreillys. Will continue to use Oreillys from now on. read more

I've never in my life experienced such incredible customer service and support as I did at this AutoZone. This place truly exceeded all of my expectations, and I am so grateful for the amazing team of employees who went above and beyond to help me with my car troubles. This past week one of my car's cylinders was misfiring, so I drove it to AutoZone to work on it. I spent two days working on my car in the parking lot, and during that time, I had the pleasure of meeting and interacting with six or seven different employees. Each and every one of them was friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly patient with me as I worked through the repairs. I was especially impressed by the dedication and commitment of Philip and Kim, who both went out of their way to make sure that I had everything I needed to get my car back on the road. Kim stayed well past her shift end, helping advise me and my friend on a difficult soldering job that we simply could not have managed without her expertise. And throughout the entire process, she remained upbeat and charming, making the experience as enjoyable as it could possibly be. Honestly, I cannot say enough good things about the employees at AutoZone. They truly made me feel like a valued customer and went out of their way to ensure that I had everything I needed to succeed. This Autozone does customer service right! I called several commercial chains looking for a diagnostic tool. I was told they would sell me one, but they wouldn't do it for me or let me use it. When I called this store I was told "of course we have one, come on down and lets see what we find". The manager Mike assisted me and got codes. Printed out the codes and gave me some insight. The part was an easy change but my big hands made it hard for me.Since I was in the parking lot, when Mike was taking out the trash he came over to see how I was doing. He showed me an easier way to get-er-done. This is my 3rd visit to this store, and the customer service has been consistent! I live in Richmond and frequent Autozone there for the same reason. Hey Ya'll I guess Katherine was having a bad hair day. These guys and gals at this store are great! I'm a local and always shop for the best price. Customer service is a "go, no go" hard core reason for shopping ANYWHERE. If I get a hint of asshole from a sales rep. while I'm shopping they will never see my face again! A fuse puller is a tiny plastic tool which could not of cost that much. Better than using your teeth AY? Maybe someone should realize that shit happens and nothings free. Awesome employees and service! I have lived in Williamsburg for 4 years and frequent the Merrimac Trail store often. I have always received great and timely service. The employees go out of their way to help me in the store and if needed in the parking lot. I had to post a review due to the exact opposite experience that was evidently experienced by Katherine in the pervious post. Sorry Katherine, must not have been your day. Sucked. Don't advertise you have loaner tools if you don't. Don't tell the customer you don't have the tools because people steal them. We only needed to change a fuse IN THE PARKING LOT and you sold the damn tool that my husband has at home but we were traveling. The salesman that was working at 11am on 8/19 was a jerk. read more
