The fried rice was a little greasy but it was pretty good overall. The soups were nice and hot and hit the spot. It is a good-sized portion and if you can read Chinese, it helps you that much more. Partly due to this, we chose this Chinese restaurant, which looks quite nice. We ordered the €52 menu for 2 persons with 4 fried and 3 steamed dumplings each. The main course contained cantonese rice, noodles with vegetables, Beijing duck and prawns with vegetables. All dumplings were quite good to very good, but unfortunately the main course was a bit of a let down. The prawns had virtually no taste themselves and the duck varied from dry on one side to near the authentic taste and crispness of the way it should taste in the best restaurants. The cantonese rice was ok, but the noodles a bit dry and salty. The dessert itself made up for it, consisting of home-made apple beignet with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and strawberry sauce. That was simply very delicious, although I noticed my wife's apple beignet tasting much less than mine (I finished hers). I am being picky here, since the food is always at least good enough, but having eaten in the better Cantonese/Chinese restaurants in Hong Kong, Beijing, Amsterdam among others, I am a bit spoiled when it comes to Chinese food and therefore I give it 4 stars.
