I am from EHT and this store was mentioned in passing so I decided to make a visit. My son, myself, and my husband came in and almost immediately my husband (a huskier fella, no one wants a skinny dude) was immediately dismissed...while we were there there was an altercation where the owners made comments regarding a "bigger" woman who had some sort of incident and kept referencing images. We left and went to 9th street surf shop in Ocean City and were treated like royalty. Avalon, and Avalon Surf do better. read more

Avalon Surf is the best for t-shirts, swimsuits and board shorts. Great selection and a real family oriented shop. In business for nearly 40 years, they are a staple along Dune Drive. Fair pricing and friendly folks. Totally recommend it as a go to for surf & casual clothing. read more
