I have never dealt with someone more unprofessional than Corey Pattison. I hired Corey to do a…read moresimple hot water heater install in a small utility closet. I even went as far as to send him pictures of the actual hot water heater that I had chosen (4500w/50 gallon, Electric) He said he would pick it up at the Home Depot in Dunwoody, then call me and they would take my credit card over the phone. I took a day off from work. On the day of the install, he sent me a picture of the hot water heater he was about to purchase. It was a 5500W/40 gallon. He then called me and I explained to him that the 5500W required heavier amperage wiring and that also I specifically requested the 4500w and a 50 gallon, not 40 gallon. To which he made some lame excuse about miss-reading the tag. I also reminded him that the utility closet was small, and I had previously sent him pictures. I told him that the closet would not accommodate any tank larger than 22 inches in diameter. At this point, he said "this is not going to be worth my time" and attempted to give me someone else's phone number. At this point I hung up. I certainly wasn't going to take a recommendation from him. I texted him later in the day to express my disappointment, and told him that my review of his business would reflect my dissatisfaction. He replied back saying: "Listen buddy just make sure you tell the truth. Mr Lincoln said we're all free. I'm allowed to refuse service if I find the job is going to exceed my abilities. I did nothing wrong. But you go right ahead and exercise your opinions." If a simple, hot water heater installation exceeds his abilities, then he went to the wrong booth at career day, and should sue his guidance counselor! He has a very aggressive tone on the phone and will not let you get a word in edgewise. So not only did I waste an off day, I'm still without my new hot water heater. It's unfortunate that Yelp does not allow you to give a zero star rating. There are a lot of electrician/plumber/contractors out there, and I sincerely hope that Corey Pattison is not the one you choose when you're considering your next project
