This popular little coffee shop of Ilkley is situated in prime position really, but at the corner of the huge car park in the centre of Ilkley, and also facing out on to one of the main shopping streets on the other side. Small wonder then, that when I went in for a cup it was full of people and staff milling about for their elevenses! I'd only just arrived at Ilkley and as standard I needed to get some caffeine and a toilet break before starting my heavy duty browsings.
It was a cappuccino for me, as standard, and a really nice window seat to sit and watch Ilkley go by. Being that their shop has huge windows it's really light inside and a really great place to relax and read a paper. I enjoyed my coffee, although no more than any other cappuccino I've had in Leeds I guess, but certainly the locale of this shop made it a lovely visit. They serve a variety of other drinks, snacks and so on too but I wasn't really due a lunch break so had no excuse to try anything on the menu. Even so, there were quite a few tasty looking options, so maybe next time I'll stop to eat!
A great little spot to grab some leg rest. Lovely! read more
