We booked same-day by phone, and received a confirmation email with instructions for after-hours self-checkin. Upon arrival, we picked up a personalized envelope containing a park map and rules, amenities key card, and directions to the assigned spot for our 40' RV. Lovely grounds with paved roads, concrete parking pads, and a landscaped picnic area for each site. If clean and spacious bathrooms matter to you, you'll love the ones here! We didn't stay to use the other resort amenities, though the pool area, social house and shaded path benches looked inviting. The 3 gals we came in contact with in the office were super nice. 2 nice large off leash parks we didn't use but the grounds have plenty of green grass areas and doggy pots. Now if you are gonna call yourselves Premier and Resort you definitely need to upgrade your cable and Wi-Fi. Though we did get many channels with our antenna. We also had good Verizon cell service so I didn't use the Wi-Fi. We will stay here again during a time when it's not 110 degrees.

Then management changed hands and all came to a stop as you can see from the reviews in 2 cases they feel the same way... the new managers Nancy and Allen have managed to run this place in the ground and with many complaints to the House of Reality by many of the tenants in the park nothing seems to be done. 1st.. I noticed when paying cash they only gave a generic receipt only with my name no space # and no Park Marina anywhere on it ‍ I immediately called House of Reality and made them aware of this practice because not only do I need to protect my payment but the owner being assured he gets payment on the space. 2nd ... The mangers we're not doing hardly any maintenance on the property many of us tenants that cared about the place took care of our own sites, I watered bought a mower and blower kept things nice and never got a thank you. 3rd ... I recently left the park and relocated to another and our new location called just to verify us Nancy proceeded bad mouth me directly that I did things in the park that I wasn't supposed too! (Like water and mowed my lawn area ‍) then proceeded to tell the new manager that I was late on my rent consistently and also was telling people in the park I was also late on the rent, grant you we were late but always paid and paid the late fee in full! Regardless we cared about the place maintained the best kept spot in the park! Luckily I gave references to many of the tenants in the park that knew me and could verify what type of person I am and how I took care of my area and beyond... I could even continue with many more incidents that have taken place here but enough is enough I will never be back. Hopefully this place will get rid of this management and revert back to the nice gem it was. As you can see we were not bad tenants

They also said we took too long, but we didn't know there was a time limit while dumping. While we were cleaning up, her brother drove over and said these exact words, "get the f-- in your truck and get the f-- out of here. I'm not nice like my sister." We would not recommend coming here, as the managers are not friendly at all.

When we…read morewere down there, the first car that we tried was full of cigarette smoke, being that I have such an asthmatic/allergy to cigarette smoke, I asked to be switched. The gentleman there was kind and gave us a small Subaru( but said it was mid-size) and it was ok. Got us to point A to point B. We could feel every bump in the road and the seats were super hard. But, we were grateful that God gave us a car to help us get from point A to point B. Then this morning, it was raining; so we started to use our windshield wiper blades, and realized that one of them didn't work. Seeing out of the windows while it is raining, would be a definite plus. So we stopped in at this budget here; and a gentleman named Mike, helped us out and got us a RAV4. Switched us out quickly which we were thankful for. Now we had to fill the other tank up, and we did as we promised. So now we have a comfier vehicle, one that sits up higher; and we don't have a vehicle that we can feel every single bump in the road. So next time you are at this Avis/Budget place, ask for Mike. An upgrade is only an "upgrade" when it has perceived value to the customer…read more I reserved a vehicle to be picked up on 9/09 and returned on 9/15/18 and when I arrived at my scheduled time to pick up said vehicle I was told, "Sorry, we only have this left, take it or leave it." Well I had reserved a full-size car what I got stuck with was a mini-van and I was told it was an upgrade. Nope, sorry, not sorry, I don't need a buttload of seats . . . but got stuck with it b/c I was told, "Take it or leave it!" I figured, crap, I can deal with it for a few days as I was on my way out of town. Well, I returned into town on 9/12/18 and began trying to call the local office around 2 p.m. to trade this sucker in as I had paid for a full-size car thru 9/15/18. No one would answer the phone at the local office and I kept getting forwarded to the national customer service line. I did speak to someone at the national office and was told try calling the local office again. WTF? Okay, still no one answering - and don't even try to do anything at an airport rental location unless you have some sort of plane ticket confirming that you actually traveled - WTF x 2 !!?? So after various unsuccessful tries at contacting someone from local office again that I rented it from I tried on-line chat with Budget national office, and they told me to call the 800# and have them deal with it...UGH!!! Well, still SSDD. Fast forward to Thursday, SOS and didn't even drive the thing, beast, monster gas-guzzler. So now it's Friday morning and was hopeful once again and called the 800# for Budget customer service and was told by Jose, "Sorry but you need to talk to the location in which you rented the vehicle from." I wanted to say, "Listed here Jose, I am unable to contact them as they're not answering the phone." Jose had suggested I drive up to the location and see about exchanging vehicles that way - double UGH!! I don't want to drive all the way up there for bupkiss, zilch, nada b/c this thing gets shit gas mileage. So I'm stuck and it sucks - I've paid for a useless rental until Saturday 9/15/18 but I'll be damned if I return it early out of mere principle. DON'T RENT FROM THEM is my advice - you'll have your car that you reserved early jacked right out from you and may not have anyone to assist you in getting another more acceptable vehicle. What a load of BS! An upgrade is only an upgrade if they're is some benefit for the renter. This is more of a punishment to me than an upgrade period. The gas mileage sucks and oh yeah, it's a fricking minivan. (No offense to the mini-van or those who own one, but if I would have wanted a minivan I would have purchased one or at least reserved a minivan.

We didn't use the laundry or restrooms because it had full hookup, so I can't rate them on this. They do have a dog area, but we didn't use it either. There was a nice covered outdoor sitting area with a water fountain and it had a grill.

The gang and I had an amazing little long-weekend getaway on Lake Shasta. Perfect weather, amazing…read moreviews, great water play and an awesome houseboat! We were on the Odyssey houseboat - sleeps 15, we had 10. Roomy, with a water-slide off the back and a hot tub on the top! Probably nicer in some aspects than my apt. (i.e. kitchen cabinetry, etc). We left from the Sugarloaf Resort/Marina. Everyone was helpful at check-in and our loads and loads of bags, bedding, food and other goodies were taken from the cars and put onto the houseboat for us! Fabulous! The only few things that could use some work - We think that they may want to implement random drug testing of employees who look like they are 12 but are probably closer to legal age :-) Also, we had some speaker/sound system trouble but managed OK and had a leak at the wet bar up top which they came to fix a few times but eventually we rigged it up with a hair tie and made do. Otherwise the experience was absolutely wondrous... waking up to lake views, swimming in fresh water, rafting around coves, sunning, playing board games, making dinners together, having wine under the stars, catching up with old friends and making new ones! At about $250 total (rent, food, gas, insurance) per person for 4-5 days it doesn't get any better than this. And the price point is high enough that the frats etc. are shuffled to cheaper boats and other arms of the lake. Nice! I highly recommend renting a houseboat here and back that up by saying the gang is already signed up for next year's trip!
