Suspend those 15 percent bad and the other 15 percent punish them don't punish the rest of kids. then fire those bad teachers but you guys won't . You pay the good teachers very little so the government has it and they do nothing with it. The 70 percent good kids the 80 percent teachers and 15 percent good staff need to work in a place where they actually get respected and not in this failure place. I'm talking about green wood elementary . Don't go to greenwood go to a nice private school or move and go to a good public school where everyone is good and the bad kids and staff are fired. I'm only talking about green wood don't go to green wood

I like aspects except a few. I went to this school and graduated 3 years ago and something that…read morealways seemed to bother me was the extreme bullying, especially in kickball. It may normally be a bit rude but in kickball everyone is literally screaming at the top of their lungs and constantly arguing(for example if there is someone who they consider bad at kickball they will try to force them onto the other team.) But the thing that mainly bothers me in not just kickball but in all of the school is the structure. For example in kickball, the rule is that you are first to get in kicking line after your team switches to kicking instead of letting the person who was next in line after 3 outs in kicking kick next. Another example is in basketball. The basketball court on the school playground is designed with definitely some intent of making it interfere the kickball game. The court is right in front of the kickball turf and any far kicks or throws between 2nd and 3rd base would interrupt the basketball game by crossing the court. I also do not like the structure that teachers go through. I like that you do not have to move around with different teachers, but staying with that 1 teacher all the time kind of makes you super dependent on that teacher. Another thing I hate with the sports structure is the fact that no one plays as a team. The ball is almost always passed to only the same people who are considered good, those of which who completely forget about teamwork and try to show off instead of including others and completely screw up their team, such as chucking the kickball as hard as possible to try and show off by getting someone out instead of being safe, but those people often miss the ball versus others and screw up their entire team. A third thing I hate is the structure of the teachers. The teachers are nice and all but one major thing I see them fail to do is take action against bullies. Like the kickball bullies are people I understand because there would just be more and more conflict no matter how many you break up at the time. But there are other disagreements which people become overconfident of their side in and virtually take in nothing from the other person side and start fighting like hell. If a student tells a teacher of bullying or even fights between entire teams in certain sports then they are not going to take action and the nice and quiet people who want to say one thing or are considered bad at the sport will be completely bullied and excluded by all the kids. 1: I am credible in this insight such that I went to elementary school there and that I have been through all the years and have graduated elementary school there. Keep in mind that these people almost always end up becoming more inclusive, friendly, nice and mature in middle or maybe even high school/ 2: Please do not think of these people as forever being bad people. This is because many of the people I knew who were like this in elementary school ended up growing much nicer, friendlier, more inclusive and mature in life. Even some big elementary school bullies ended up becoming my friends in middle school.

We…read morehave looked at more expensive options and less expensive options and are convinced that Primrose is the right place for our boys. I simply could not disagree more with the other reviewer. The education and development of my boys have been very impressive. The 4yr old was potty trained in just over 2 years. He can read, write and even speak limited Spanish at just over 4yrs. With the limited amount of time my wife and I have with him I firmly believe Primrose is to thank. This is despite some teacher turnover that occurred after a large competitor moved in down the street and actively attempted to recruit away their staff last year. Why did my sons development continue with little relative impact? The curriculum. It simply works. At this age it's the strong controls over what, when and how our children are taught that allows Primrose to be so successful at educating our children. That's not to takeaway from the excellent staff whom we do appreciate. In addition to the education there is also the social development. Our children are not only academically intelligent - they are also polite, caring, social and resilient. Their emotional development appears to be well beyond that of others their age. As I said earlier - with the limited amount of time we get to spend with our boys - I trust Primrose to help develop them into successful students and socially responsible children - and they haven't let me down.

You can tell the teachers love what they do and the kids learn so much here. The cook on site is such a huge bonus. There are many day cares including our current one that requests all meals are pre-made by parents. The great thing about this place is that they create a culture like no other between parents, teachers, kids, staff! We miss it a ton!!!

Wow, I honestly can't say enough good things about Goddard Medina. We have loved sending our 2…read moredaughters (4 yrs & 2 yrs) here. As we have moved, we have attended 2 other centers that just can't compare to Goddard's curriculum and care level. First of all, Tammy (the Director) is absolutely top-notch. She is knowledgeable, open, and kind. The teachers are fantastic & so caring. Everyone knows my kids names in that school, it blows my mind. My girls absolutely love their teachers & can't wait to go to school each day. I should also point out that one of my daughters attends Special Education classes at Wayzata Early Learning Center 3 days a week & Tammy even met with our case worker to ensure they were collaborating on how to best serve her learning style. Tammy is always willing to advocate for my child's best care, even when there is extra work involved. I guess the best way to describe this place is above and beyond. They create sensory activities, hire special entertainment guests for the kiddos, host 'Parents Night Out' events...we are continuously impressed. They also use an app that allows you to see fun pictures of your kids throughout the day & get a digital summary of the days activities. Everything just feels so well run, we never 'worry' about our kids there. My guilt as a working mom has melted away. I definitely encourage you to tour Goddard if you are thinking about it. Our only regret is that we didn't find them sooner.

He has learned so much from their curriculum and also has so much fun everyday, he is all smiles when i pick him up! He is so loved there by all the teachers and they put so much effort into taking care of each kids different needs. My son is very shy and even after going there for a year and a half, he is shy in the mornings (until I've been gone for about 30 seconds then he's happy as a clam!) so the teachers have all done special things to make him comfortable until I'm gone and it has helped so much! I feel like they go way above and beyond to care for my son! Very happy with Goddard Medina!
