No rice crispies or foot loops here. Tons of different grains to add to you choice of different flavour Yougerts. Fresh made eggs and meats. Plus cold cuts cheeses 3 different breads you slice. Mind blowing. REAL white and brown sugar cubes. Can't remember when I last saw a sugar cube. Huge selection of everything. And get this a machine that on demand dispenses a perfect temperature pat of butter into a small dish. No more too cold plastic containers of butter that you can't spread or melted because you kept them in your pocket too long. Amazing. Service friendly. Beautiful. 5 stars to the buffet

The restaurant is exceptional and won't break the bank. Servers were helpful and on the ball. In particular, breakfast buffet was typical for a hotel but everything was presented very well and all was tasty. Dinner on two occasions consisted of baked cod, salad, fish and chips and their cheesburger. Food was fantastic for a location like this. I recommend this hotel without any reservation. I would definitely return. The only downside: Bathtub sides are very high. If you are not agile (!!!!!) you must get a room with a shower.

Merel van Dort from The Slaak recommended the Rotterdam Marriott, and even offered to cover the difference in rate. Bonus point #1 to Merel for having done this! I then began working with Demi Vevat at the Rottderdam Marriott, who managed the transition seamlessly. We had a few last minute cancellations, which she also graciously allowed us to cancel. From working with Demi, to checking in, to our overall experience, I have to say the customer service at this hotel is as good as it gets! Everyone went above and beyond to ensure our stay was great! Shout out also to Olaf, who was a gem to work with! The rooms were spacious and clean, the Concierge Lounge had a great breakfast and evening snacks. We had a couple of meetings in there that afforded us a quiet spot to meet. The proximity to the train station is PERFECT, and the ability to walk to many places is easy. The reception desk very small because they a computer for guests to use for easy check-in and check-out. This hotel is only 3-5 minute walk to a main area and huge indoor food market. The famous cubed houses are also close by. We were on the 7th floor room 702 because I chose the Family room which has two rooms and a balcony. Very nice bathroom ( with nice pressure) as you enter room. One room has sleeper/couch and a very nice dresser/closet. Also has the mini fridge and coffee maker. Main room has the bed ( basically box springs with a topper), desk/chair, with tv. They definitely need to up their bed game and probably should be the most important item in the room in my opinion. The one cool thing in the room was a record player with records I didn't under stand, I would reference Shawshank as an example. The room was on a corner so the balcony wrapped around with views of housing and views of the city. Overall we thought the room had plenty of space and was comfortable. I enjoyed the balcony even in the rain. We enjoyed this hotel a lot, mostly for the location. But also for the friendly staff and amenities. Parking was convenient too. Although they tell you your room is not ready. Also in an effort to appear hip and modern. It creates some hazards. The foreshadowing was waiting to get checked into our room. I got a man came in with a newly casted, broken leg. In talking with him, I found out he had fallen at breakfast and broke his leg. Ina had to cancel his cruise and go back home. Additionally, in the shower, the water leaks everywhere all the way from the shower into the sink area into the toilet area. The bed was very hard. The room has a cold, modern ambience. There's a huge TV in the room but it only has a small screen on the TV. Additionally, the room is set up in such a way that if you put the lights on by the bed, it puts a glare on the TV screen. The channel connections are limited and very slow. The breakfast was good but not great. It is in a perfect location if you're taking a cruise just steps away from the cruise check in point for Celebrity.

So nice that we could drop off our luggage after our cruise and they also let our friends store their luggage as well, since our room was not ready early in the day. The hotel is so centrally located near museums, shops and restaurants. We even walked by the hotel on our Free Walking Tour Rotterdam (which I would highly recommend). Our city view room was so comfortable. Lots of space with a large desk and a couple of chairs. Beautiful views of Rotterdam from the oversized windows. Definitely add breakfast. Love the huge selections of fresh Dutch cheeses, smoked salmon and thinly sliced beef. The bread was so delicious, especially the brown bread with fig and nuts. The bread pudding was a nice breakfast indulgence. The orange juice was so fresh. Grab a latte or cappuccino to start your day. The outside garden is so peaceful for breakfast. If you didn't get enough steps, there is a small gym, but after 26,000 steps, I just relaxed in the sauna late at night. Had the space to myself which was a nice bonus. Highly recommend this hotel for an overnight stay in Rotterdam. One of our favorite hotels for our Holland/Norway/Paris Olympics vacation. Got a great deal on Booking.com. The hotel was modern, clean, and well maintained. The room was spacious and we had no issues. Despite our room located along a busy street, we did not have issues with sleep quality. The room had adequate air conditioning and had multiple windows that can be opened for fresh air. Breakfast buffet was included and was adequate for European standards.
