If you are going to the airport the next day then it'll be a short drive. The accommodations were very nice, the host was gracious and overall a great stay. I was comfortable and I slept well in the beds. The dining room is also very adorable. For those travelers who have a car it is ideal but without a car if you're visiting Dublin then I'd recommend staying closer to all the attractions.

What an amazing host!…read more We stayed here two nights because it is conveniently situated near to the airport and on the bus route [16 or 1) into town. Parking downtown is a hassle because the city isn't designed for cars. She greeted us most hospitably at the door. Wish I had been kinder but was totally exhausted by the one hour drive out of the city after a day in the archives. LA traffic is insane but Dublin rush hour is nuts! Was it truly an hour to go less than three miles? So, the room (number 4) is light and airy and one of the best beds I have slept in during our trip. Breakfast on the other hand--cooked to order every day. What do you like? She will prepare it. Excellent. But, wait. We had to do our laundry and our hostess even offered to drop it off and it was returned to our room by the time we got back from the city. She had great advise on bus routes and a bus fare card. Bedroom was very nice, and had a very large bed. Lovely wood floors! Tons of electrical outlets, including USB ports throughout the room. The bathroom was GIGANTIC! Very convenient to the airport, and rental car return right up the road. Had a small parking lot out front, which would have been a bit tricky with multiple cars but we got lucky. Just a 10 minute walk up the road to the Omni shopping center, restaurants, and groceries. We had to depart for the airport before breakfast began at 8am, so we didn't get to partake but he breakfast room was lovely and we were able to grab some cereal on the way out.
