Service was slow but it was Sunday lunch and the restaurant was full. My partners meal had to be asked for after the rest of the table received theirs and coffees afterwards took a long time also. The bruschetta to start was large but messy as it had to be cut at the table. Meals seemed inconsistent size wise and the oysters on mine and my brothers seafood basket (his had to be asked for as they had been forgotten), were tiny. Scallops were nicely cooked. Their is the option to order a seafood platter (for two) which was basically what I had with the addition of fresh seafood. One of the staff members was talking to my mum and I overheard that the salad had been grown on site in the clubs own garden which I really liked.

We rang the Club to be on the Pick-Up service operated by the Bowlo. A friendly driver arrived in a timely fashion & our group of 8 were pleased to be leaving a camp of teenagers behind us! The menu offered a good selection. As it was Tuesday there was a Pizza Special : any pizza on menu plus a drink $15. Some of my friends opted for this. Others chose seafood, my neighbour had pasta & I ordered Lamb Shanks.... as I often do! There were a few desserts available too. I enjoyed every bite of the Rum & Raisin Creme Brûlée as my mates tucked into a decadent choc tart. Wine by glass or bottle was reasonably priced. Wow, a pleasant surprise. And when we were ready to return to real life the mini bus was there to chauffeur us back.

The bar side feels a bit old and club-like, but the little courtyard is lovely. There's always lots of parking and seats. The staff really try hard, and they seem to know the locals' names. And the locals seem lovely too. It's very kid friendly, budget friendly and relaxed.

Great range of equipment. Even though the establishment was being renovated and upgraded the atmosphere was good. Although the music could have been louder.. Lol staff again was awesome stealth with a couple of muppets very nicely. Over stayed nine minutes lol but the staff were very cool. Very welcoming! Very honest. Didn't try to force a membership down our throats. Even though the gym had very little boxing gear they were still very accommodating. I recon I'll join full time after the trial is done coz I'm interested in the finished product! Can't wait to watch it grow... Good job guys!
