Home from home for our dogs Left our two dogs, our beagle…read morepuppy 6 months old and our Cocker Spaniel 3 years old, they had a great time, didn't miss us at all infact our Spaniel didn't want to leave Louise, she looked after them in her own home and we received pictures from her showing our dogs out and about each day having a great time. Our dogs came back healthy and happy and I would have no hesitation in using their services again.

After an unreliable Yelp recommendation, a dog walker that "doesn't take collies", and four other…read moreunresponsive dog walkers, Fiona of Pawsitive Tails saved the day by coming in all the way from Hamilton to walk my in-laws' loveable bearded collie we were dog-sitting. Leading up to the day we needed her to take out the pup, we set up a meet and greet so Fiona knew where to go, address any questions or concerns and also get familiar with the dog. On the day, I got videos and messages from Fiona saying how much fun the pup had in the park with the pooches. Her rates are competitive and totally reasonable. While she doesn't normally service the Strathbungo/Queens Park area, if you are in the Hamilton area Fiona is brilliant. The pup and I are forever grateful to her, when others have proved to be unhelpful or unreliable.

Yesterday I had to have my beautiful dog put to sleep. She was taken into West Mains Kennels in…read moreperfect health and after her being at West Mains Kennels in Stonehouse for 10 days I collected her. She had lost almost a 1/3rd of her body weight, her coat was dull, and she had a very high temperature and was diagnosed with liver disease. Despite leaving instructions for her to be taken to the vets where she was registered should there be any signs of her needing a vet nothing was done for her. I took her to her vet after collecting her and four days of drips, antibiotics etc. couldn't save her. Sadly I only learnt of other people who had bad experiences with this establishment too late. Do not be fooled by the pictures and write up they have on their website. There is a reason they do not let you view the kennels at any time. Please don't let your loved one meet the same fate.

She wasnt doing great job, not even sure if she was going to my house everyday. I can tell as I have experience with cat sitters (unfortunately after moving out of Glasgow had to change my long term cat sitter)Storage room's floor carpet was literally covered in urine so I dont know what has happen, I guess Jackie wasnt coming every day or wasnt cleaning litter tray. Was really hard to make her to send me photos. Once Ive noticed she sent my photos already sent few days previously. One of my cats was not well and required medication. After I came back I noticed not enough tablets were gone ... Also I was stressed as it was the first time I used this cat sitter and she wasnt replying to my txts and was rejecting my phone calls on the first day. I had to threatened I will call police if she wont contact me. Ridiculous.
