We did the ghost tour. It was very informative and historical. The tour guide was energetic and pretty loud for a big group. This was our first day in Venice so once night fell and we were being lead around very dark corners it was nice to be with a guide as the tourists disappeared. I loved the folklore told and learned a lot about Venice from this tour. I'd highly recommend it! read more

One of the best tours we had while on vacation. They were very organized and professional. We explored parts of Venice on a very nice motor boat that accommodated a group of 8 people. Our tour guide was excellent. He explained the sights and took us through the less touristy areas which was awesome because we experienced the city like locals. It was a wonderful hour long ride and very well worth the price. There's no way we would've covered so much on gondolas and we would've paid double! So glad we experienced the canals with Avventure Bellissime. I recommend them and look forward to taking another tour with them on a return visit! read more

Our travel agent booked a walking tour of Venice for our group of 7 and sent us a co formation page w some details. There was confusion from the get go, BUT, once we got started our guide Andrea was great. He was informative and easy to understand and was very gracious and helpful, a common trait here in Italy!!! The day started out badly though as our reservation said to meet at 10:00am but it didn't say anywhere specific to meet on the confirmation. We tried calling the number t he day before just to confirm verbally but nobody ever answered the phone. We were told by our hotel desk that most tours start in St Marks Square but when we got there at 9:45 we couldn't find anything related to our tour. We were wandering around helplessly, after trying to call yet again, and we were ready to give up on the whole thing.....it's now after 10, when we flag down a guy leading another group of people from a different company. He offered to make a phone call for us and wound up spending almost 15 minutes with us helping us locate someone to speak to. He not only took the time but got us directions to where to meet once he got them on the phone and when we offered him $$ he absolutely refused to take anything! His name is Lai and not sure who he works for but Adventure Bellisime you should go hire him!!!! Oh, and they said it started at 11:00 not 10:00 despite our confirmation saying otherwise so we wound up standing waiting in the hot sun for 45 minutes Anyway, I do t know how they can out out a confirmation without a meeting place listed and not answer the phone, but at least our guide was good! read more

Unfortunately, we had a very disappointing experience with this company We had 6 people booked for a 2 hour grand canal trip booked through Viator We were running 5 minutes late and we called 10 minutes before the boat was taking off and again 3 minutes before the 10:00 departure time to let them know we would be 5 minutes late They said that we might miss the trip by being late They had 3 boats that were taking off and each boat held 6 people so obviously one of the boats was for our group of 6. We did arrive at the meeting space at 10:05 -- 5 minutes after the boats left. This company chose to fill our spaces with stand by passengers We asked if we could get on the boat tomorrow they said they had no spaces but we could try standby If they couldn't accommodate us we asked if we could receive a refund. They said again to wait until tomorrow to see if we could go standby We showed up the next morning at 9:25am, waited for the tour guide, explained our situation and the lady called her office. Unfortunately they had no accommodations, yet oddly they only had one boat this day for a total of 6 (while having 3 boats the day before for 18) firmly stating they had no intentions of ever accommodating us. So at this point we asked for our money back. No service you shouldn't have to pay. Back on the phone with the lady at the office she said that she couldn't do a refund as we booked it through Viator so off I went to call Viator. Viator stated Avventure Bellissime (the boat company) denied our request for a refund so the lady from the boat company had lied to me It was the boat company not Viator that was holding up the prices of a refund. So I'm back on the phone with the same lady for over 15 minutes and she now is saying that she will not authorize a refund. So the previous 3 times that I requested a refund she lied each time saying that we had to go through Viator. We will fight for a refund with our credit card company but truly they could have handled this in a much better way. 3 boats one day only one the next. Customer service is not a priority for this company. read more

Had a wonderful tour with Daniel (our guide) and 7 other tourists through the Veneto hill towns. We started at a nearby town with a medieval castle. We went on a Tuesday morning, so we got to see the market action going on. Then went to two other towns with beautiful views and architecture. Saw a Palladian villa and had lunch in a wonderful little trattoria. It was the best lunch I've had during the whole stay in Venice. Lastly, we stopped at a winery in the Prosecco wine region, and had fun sitting, drinking, and talking to the others. Bought 2 bottles to take home. Overall, the tour was 9 hours - started and ended at Tronchetto. We travelled in a nice, clean, air conditioned Mercedes van. Be sure to bring your own water (not provided). Gratuity was also not included, though the ticket says optional. Thanks for the great day! read more

My friend and I had a FANTASTIC tour with Adventure Bellisime this past week. We took their day trip to the Dolomites with Marco. I have always wanted to see the Dolomites and this opportunity was one I would not have missed. The mini van (for 8) was spotless, comfortable and had huge windows for great viewing. Marco was a great driver, tour guide and obviously very knowledgeable about Venice and the Veneto. It was a long day, but we saw so much beauty and so much diversity in the areas. We stopped for photos - spent time walking in two towns, had a great lunch, enjoyed some prosecco and saw the most gorgeous scenery. I told my friend if she were not with me, I would have done it again the next day. Marco was wonderful and you could tell he wanted us to feel the same way he did about the beautiful places we were seeing. Unfortunately we had to delay our start by 15 minutes as some tourists had signed up, but despite written notice that we were leaving on time, they were not there on time. IT was annoying to all of us, that those of us who had made extra time to arrive on time were punished because others were late. I think the company should allow tours to leave on time. However, the day (and Marco) more than made up for it. read more
