I am a wedding planner and worked with this company previously but after my last event, I will not be recommending them further. Despite their online order convenience, they cancelled my order for a wedding this past Saturday without informing us. We had to scramble to get bathrooms, despite them informing us that the companies that they source from did not have any bathrooms available for the day. I had to call three different services inside Arwood to finally recieve help from the billing department. Truly terrible customer service. NEVER use them. GO LOCAL. They are terrible. I have never been more upset with a company before. I used their online service to rent out a portable toilet for my wedding on 4/28/2018. I called day before the delivery day and spoke with a representative. I told her I wanted more specific time frame for when the toilet will be delivered. She told me that its between 7AM and 7PM and cannot narrow it down. She looked up my information and told me that they have everything they need right here and it will be delivered for sure Friday 4/27/2018. I asked her to email me a receipt and withing moments I had a email from Arwood local team. I thought everything was good to go because they verified it for me. They never delivered the toilet. No call no contact just never showed up at all. I called and left messages Friday. I called Saturday and left messages. I emailed them. I facebook posted and messaged them. Nothing. Then Monday morning I get 2 voicemails saying they got my messages and want to offer me a 10% discount for their services. No mention no word about how my portable toilet was never delivered. I had literally no place for myself or guests to use the bathroom at my wedding. I then get a email from Michael who said its my fault because I never approved a rate increase. I told him I have never received a call or voicemail or email about needing to approve rate increase. I also told him that I called day before and his staff confirmed everything was good to go. His response is that I should not have placed the order online using their online service I should have called it in. He still refuses to provide any copy of the email or call or anything showing they attempted to make contact about the rate increase. He doesn't care that my wedding was ruined and cut short. He doesn't care that I never heard from a single person. He is suggesting it is my fault for using the online service they offer. I have kept all emails from him and plan on posting them all over the internet. There is zero customer service at this company. When you look up portable toilets they flood google so its hard to even find another company. I would put negative 10 stars if I could. They now hang up on me when I tried to call them after getting their most recent email. I suggest everyone on yelp go into trust pilot and post their reviews there too. Ordered a dumpster for 10 days. Reasonable price. Received an invoice for Additional charges of 75.00 for removal (was not quoted at time of quote) & additional 70.55, for more that 1.5 tons which is hard to believe it was over 1.5 tons. The 75.00 removal fee is what really got me. Unethical by not including this in price. I asked to speak to manager, but Danielle said she was the manager & that was the price. What a way to do business. I bet you don't get many repeat customers. Worst company ever! They claimed to have the best service and affordable price but is the complete opposite. I did my order online and had set a date for a drop off and pickup. They failed to pick up on the date that was set and want to charge you for it because you didn't follow up with them to schedule a pick up date - why would you put a pick up date on your site if you still require someone to call? Then they charge you an additional dump fee (C&D) and removal fee which almost double the price of your order that they didn't indicate anywhere on their site - There goes your affordable price. And when you call them out on it, the only response is "tough luck." The nice part was that offered to give me a $75 discount; however, charged my card the full price. Found their info online for Porta Potty Rental. It says they rent NATIONWIDE! I called, they gave me a price, said the location wasn't an issue, got my card info, sent me a receipt, and we even communicated the next day via email. I didn't hear anything...and the day of delivery rolled around and I hadn't heard from anyone for over a month! It was getting late in the day, so I decided to call to see when delivery would happen. That's when I was told it WASN'T! Seriously! I was told that they had sent an email and called to notify us that we weren't getting delivery. I keep all of my emails until an "event" happens. I had not received an email from them! I was not happy. The guy insisted that they had done both and basically insinuated that I was lying. He then forwarded me the email. They had sent the email to an incorrect email address! The kicker!! I didn't give the guy my email address today, so I know they had my correct email address! AND...I had communicated with the company via email previously too! I do NOT recommend this company at all! WARNING. ARWOOD WASTE IS A SUPER SHADY BUSINESS. I had hired them for a port-a-potty in Seattle and paid up front. The invoice came with the wrong dates. Asked for an updated invoice which never came. Finally the day it was supposed to be there it never showed. Called to complain and cancel because we had hired another company and they said it wasn't my fault and I would be reimbursed for the charges. I was never reimbursed and on top of that they through on an extra $30 bucks that wasn't on the invoice. After that they have charged me two more times for port-a-potty service that we never asked for two months and three months later, and that they never provided. They charged my account and then sent me a delinquency notice for not having paid those even though they already charged me. Plus they had me scheduled for more services. Unreliable - Cancelled on us two days before our wedding We had a restroom trailer booked for our wedding six months in advance and they cancelled on us two days before delivery. They cancelled because they couldn't get their trailer insured in time and said they were very sorry about it but there is nothing they can do. They only had one answer on repeat from all their customer service staff and they simply wouldn't help us with alternative options or anything. It just seemed like they didn't care. They couldn't get the paperwork on time even though we booked it six months ahead of time and confirmed several times after that. For them it was just another unhappy customer and the loss was only $2,000 but for use we now have 2 days to figure out alternatives for our wedding. Morally it is very wrong for a business to not think twice about a customer. If you read this just keep it mind that their service may work out great if everything goes well but if they drop the ball, all they say is here is your money back and you're stuck with an unreliable vendor. Very unreliable, I rented a 10 yard dumpster and a portable toilet and were supposed to be delivered the following week. The day came and nothing showed up, towards the end of the day I got a call that they do not cover the area where the dumpster was supposed to be delivered. So I wasted about a week waiting for these people and now I have to find another company to rent the dumpster and toilet from. Meanwhile the material to be disposed of for my house under construction is piling up in my front yard. Worst Service ever! I called a day in advance and was told they could get me a 40 yard roll off by the next day and possibly the day I called since I requested a rush. It was not delivered same day which is fine but when I called to ask what time it would show up they tell me that they cannot get a hold of their dispatch since they do not answer phones over there. I hung up angry but accepted it. I get a call back several hours later to inform me it will cost an extra $500 (due to mileage) after already charging me almost $1,000. She said she would contact her driver and get back to me. That was 4 hours ago. We are trying to clean out my mom's attic and basement after her passing. The people are here today to help. SO they didnt suspend services they just sent threatening emails, we called to have them pick up the porta potty because they were double charging us for things. They never had the company they went through pick it up for a week or so then sent another bill saying they wont pro rate it. We have called so many times with NO HELP to any of our issues and now they took our bill of 143$ ( for 4 days or service ) and bumped it up to 648$ with another suspension notice. The service was horrible. I had to call to call four time to get an email of a picture of the trailer that was going to be brought to my house for my wedding. Day before my widding I called to see when the unit will be delivered, and to get a contact information for the delivery person, but no one new who was to deliver the unit. All I was told is that the unit will be delivered by 7 pm day before the wedding. The trailer never got delivered, which put me thru a lot of unnecessary stress right before my wedding. I tried calling the main office but all I got was the voicemail. Saturday morning, the day of the wedding, I had to find another company that would bring me a restroom trailer unit. Luckilly I found another company that brought a portable restroom trailer just in time for my wedding. I ended up overpaying because of a last minute order. Only reason they have 2 stars is because of the 2 awesome gals I talked to when 1) the toilet was late arriving by a day, and then 2) late by 2 days in picking up. Of course I got no discount for that inconvenience. Seriously wonder if it would have ever been delivered or picked up without a second call by me on both ends. Requested auto drafts from bank be stopped and we started receiving paper invoices by mail. In October 2017, at our request the portable toilet was picked up from the work site. Received invoice dated 11/21/17 for the rental of the toilet (Dec. 13-Jan. 9). Called the billing office on October 27 in Jacksonville, GA to inform them that the toilet was picked up by their crew in Homer, GA in October. When I looked at my bank statement they had taken the liberty to draft $167.43...what??? Called the Jacksonville office again to request refund. A day before they were scheduled to show up, I received an email that described a "small additional charge". This charge was an increase of 50%. John Arwood probably doesn't know about this situation, but when I mentioned that I hoped he would want to make things right for a customer, Mike told me "I can tell you right now he won't do that." UNBELIEVABLE that less than thirty days before my wedding I am notified via email that you won't be able to provide a service that I booked over six months ago. Even worse was that I was told that your company had already reached out to other local companies to try to find available units. I'm not sure what kind of effort your people put into that, but it took me no more than thirty minutes to locate another nearby company to save the day. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. I would give them a negative star if possible. I booked a dumpster to be delivered onsite at a commercial project. I was told that I would have my dumpster delivered on the morning of 8/6/15. I received a text message at two in the afternoon "Oops! Arwood Waste has overbooked for your order" I was directed to contact a competitor to get my issue resolved. I contacted the company and asked to speak with a supervisor. The supervisor was incredibly unprofessional and told me to call someone else. I asked for her full name and position so that I may file a complaint. She hung the phone up on me. I work for a general contractor and deal with waste and toilet rentals on a regular basis. Arwood Waste is by far the WORST company I have ever dealt with for any sort of service. They told me they could deliver a toilet on 9/15 with twice a week service (which I paid extra for), and I received email confirmation with all of this info included. That date came and went, and we had to call twice and email once to get our toilet delivered, which did not happen until 9/22, a week after they confirmed it would get there. Then, after only one week of service, they only serviced our unit only once instead of twice. I called to find out what was going on, and spoke with someone named "Michael" on their 1-800 number, and he was the most demeaning, disrespectful, and unprofessional customer service rep I have ever dealt with for any type of service - professional or personal. He put me on hold to see what was going on, came back to tell me that they actually don't service twice weekly in this area. I told him we would not have used them if they couldn't provide what we needed when I called to set it up, but they had told me they could do this, and even charged me extra for it. He told me too bad, they are nationwide and sometimes things fall through the cracks (no apology or any sort of responsibility for giving incorrect info). I then requested they pick up the unit and provide me with a refund since they were a week late and did not service twice a week. He replied that they would "definitely not give us a refund" but that he would get the toilet picked up. I then asked to transfer to another person so maybe they could help, and he told me he is not an IT guy and doesn't know how to transfer. He would not tell me his last name, and also said he didn't need to give me good customer service since he was not a customer service representative. If that's the case, he shouldn't be answering the 1-800 phone calls. Long story short, he would not help me, did not give me a confirmation number for the pick up, did not refund me, and would not let me speak to anyone else at their "nationwide" company. I ordered a porta potty for my fourth of July event. I called the previous Tuesday to confirm the drop off date of 7-3-15. the customer service rep assured me the toilet would be dropped of that day. I also received an automatic email on 7-2-15 stating the confirmation of the next day. THE DAY CAME AND WENT AND SO DID MY PARTY. I have a septic tank and had over 60 people at my party. I needed that porta potty. I called the following monday and asked to speak with a manager or supervisor. I have called repeatedly since then and havent heard back from anyone. Arwood Waste is an absolute scam. We rented a unit in the central US, and it was never serviced. They charged us over 1000.00 for a month. What should have been a 130.00 bill, turned into over 1000.00 We successfully got the charges reversed on our credit card. We actually cancelled the card as a result. They are now threatening legal action. Not only did they not provide any service for the unit, charged us 10X the amount agreed to, but they actually sub-let the toilet from a local company that does not sub-let. Once we discovered this we found out that AW never actually paid the company for the "rental" in which they rented to us. So they in effect took over $1,000 from us and didn't provide the agreed to service, and they didn't even pay the bill for the unit. When I called them on it, they told me to expect a legal judgement. They also proceeded to tell me that whether or not they have paid their invoice to the local was not any of my business, as perhaps the local owed them money. In any case, whatever you do. I reserved a restroom trailer with this company for my wedding. I received a confirmation email 1 day prior to delivery providing the estimated arrival time - they never showed. On the day of my wedding I had a last minute scramble to get a hold of them. No one answered the phone or emails. We eventually found a different company to deliver restrooms last minute - they happened to be green portapotties instead of my desired restroom trailer. We spoke with the manager who never happened to follow up with us. Luckily we were never charged because they would charge upon delivery but I believe we should be compensated for having to have green portapotties at my wedding! Management sucks! There is a lot of "hidden or unexplained fees. They are money hungry. While i was working there another employee thought it was ok to snoop through me and other co workers messages. They take all of your info give you one price and then later on jack it up. It was a horrible experience. All they do is let you go or fire you and then when they need you again ask you to come back.
