I called a week in advance, and made an appointment to bring him some books I wanted to sell. When I showed up he accused me of not having an appointment, and just pretending to have an appointment so that I could sell some oh-so-precious books. It was a relatively small thing, but was unpleasant at the time. The owner is either really forgetful, disorganized, or some combination of both. In any case, accusing people of things like faking an appointment with him is just bizarre.

And it is the only place where you can go to Starbucks and actually sit down to enjoy your coffee! As it is the only location in the city, the store, Starbucks and the parking lot are generally pretty busy. But always a fun place to come for a browse, get the latest book from your favourite author, or meet friends for coffee and a catch-up.
