DO NOT USE MANANDVANINUK!!! when i first booked them, the man i spoke with on the phone gave me a…read moregood quote and seemed friendly. He promised me faithfully that i wouldn't have to lift a finger when it came to moving day which was reassuring as i have long standing back issues and was recovering from pneumonia at the time. When the 2 men arrived, the more senior of the 2 came up to the 2nd floor where my flat was located.....which he huffed and puffed about and kept shaking his head (i had informed the company of this when i booked). Taking a look around he then informed me that i had too much stuff and that i would need to give him an extra £100 cash, which i shouldn't let the office know about.....this was a fee to cover the 'overloading'. I stupidly agreed as i just wanted it to be over. I then said that i would wait downstairs at my neighbours and he looked at me sternly and told me that i must help with all the boxes. He walked up those 4 flights of stairs maybe 5 times and myself and his very keen colleague did all the rest. My back was getting worse by the minute and when i asked to take a break because of my back issues, he told me absolutely not because he was in a hurry......all the while, he just stayed on the van talking on his phone. To add insult to injury, he made me unload the other end too. I was stupid for going along with it but i was a girl on my own and he was very intimidating. I was shell shocked by the end of it and he even sneared at me when i paid him and asked for more money.....as it had taken too long apparently. Like it was my fault that he didn't help or that the company had underestimated the job at hand!! I complained to the office the next day and was promised a call back which didn't come. I asked for my £100 back which i never saw and im now suffering on a daily basis with my back as that awful day really aggrivated an old injury. They are liars and crooks. Do not use them. Go with a well known company that won't rip u off.......its just not worth it!!!!!!!

Absolutely appalling experience. This company advertises a fully refundable £5 reservation fee -- a…read moreblatant lie. After deciding not to go ahead with the booking, I requested my refund, only to be told they won't return my money but will instead "hold my booking" as credit. That's not a refund -- it's theft with extra steps. Their terms are misleading and feel deliberately designed to trick people into parting with money they have no intention of giving back. Avoid at all costs unless you enjoy being scammed out of small amounts for no service at all.

We booked a full-service move (packing, loading, unpacking) over two days…read more The company significantly underestimated our needs during a video quote, providing a truck suited for 1,000 sq ft instead of the required 1,300 sq ft. This misjudgment led to insufficient manpower and space, causing delays and the need for an additional van. Initially, they attempted to deny responsibility, claiming we hadn't requested to move certain small items, despite prior confirmation. While they eventually waived the extra van fee, they charged us for two parking fines, which felt unjust given their planning errors. We also had some problem with our belongings: shoe cabinet broken during moving out, wall damaged etc. With all the issues, the moving was delayed and took longer than expected, so the unpacking was not completed as promised (not even started actually !). The moving crew (quite professional though) acknowledged those issues, and told us to make claims for: -the unpacking that could not be done (too late for the crew) -the shoe cabinet broken during moving out (almost 200£ bought less than 2y ago) -the damaged wall (damaged by the shoe cabinet falling) and other wall damages (300£ total - an invoice from the landlord was provided). -the armrest of our sofa that was removed, but could not be reassembled in the new apartment (and now we are stuck with a 4k£ sofa with only one armrest instead of 2). We did the claim for everything, and after telling us that none of the damages were covered by the terms of the contact (that you should definitely pay attention to), they generously offered us 47£ for reparation, and then stopped replying. The experience was really bad. Only 2/3 of the job has been done, server am items were damaged. The cherry on top was customer service offering a laughable compensation, even though the moving crew acknowledged all the issues.
