Wrote a review about the wait times and now I'm going to write another review somewhat about waiting. They want you to use their web page but then don't answer the messages you send. I sent a message 2 days ago about a medicine refill for a very simple medication and still no answer. Their patients are just a number now. I'm encouraging my Hubby to change to my GP Dr O'meara at Venture Medical. Ps: went in to see the Doc at the end of May, beginning of June for what we thought was a lymes flare up and she had no idea how to check or treat for it. Went back 3 days later for Guillain Barre syndrome and again, she had no idea what to do with GBS. I told them when I made the appt what we were coming in for and they made the appt with her, Dr Rosier. read more

Worst practice ever! Aylo Health deals with deceptive business practices with insurance and will fail to notify you when they are no longer in network and continue to allow you to rack up bills as they do not promptly file insurance claims until months later. They will admit to their negligence but not take accountability. read more

I concur with the poor rating. If objective data desired review the recent rates as Aylo compared to years ago as ELFP. This was a transaction and the remaining patients paid the cost. You go in for a cough, they charge about $1000. Sometimes, i went in, was the only person there, no one in the waiting room, and waited 1.5 hours and no provider came. The worst is, they will call you on your telephone, and be extremely rude and try to chastise you like you're a child, and tell you that you're being recorded. lol What I care about as a nurse, is quality care at a reasonable price and some relatively knowledgeable personnel in the billing office. You won't find any of that with Aylo. I get cheaper, better, and more professional care at my local urgent care facility. Don't waste your time. You'll only be frustrated. read more

It was absolute pleasure that I rate this location with 1 Star. Not too long ago, I wrote a glowing review for this business just to be left with a sour taste in my mouth. I have been going to this building for a year and a half, occasionally getting my depo Provera injected under the pretense of no charge as well as no appointment needed. When I went in for my shot, I was sent a bill a few weeks later, which was new to me considering we were told it was FREE! We have been contacting them to tell them we have never been charged and we were given nothing but rude responses. NEVER again will I return to this location. As well as this bad experience, a week before, on January 13, 2020, I was given a shot for my sinusitis and the shot was injected in the wrong area, causing my knee to give out. Mind you, I have been getting shots in my hip for almost two years, so this is nothing new to me, but I was in IMMENSE pain. I had a large lump lasting a week, it was so bad my doctor who gave me my birth control went through the records and said she'd have a talk with her due to her inability to give shots properly. read more

I first visited this office 2 months ago. Dr. Lafosse and the ELFP team were AMAZING! My fiancé and I felt welcomed and put at ease. I was very scared as I had not been to a primary care physician in over 10 Years. I left feeling motivated and well taken care of. I feel that I have a manageable plan to move forward. I will definitely recommend this office to my friends and family in the area. Since my initial visit I have been back for a women's exam and a follow-up appointment. I still the same way I did on my initial visit. Respect, service, and care are extremely important to me. I have found my PCP and will continue visiting Dr. Lafosse for all of my medical needs! read more

Aylo makes it impossible for you to speak to a live person. They will have you go through a catalog of a menu ask you to rate it on 6 or 8 issues and then say goodbye and hang up. They bought my dad's Phyisicians practice and immediately started charging him for "managing " his healthcare. trying to cancel this was nearly impossible. This company is AWFUL! They make it impossible to communicate on ANY issue. I would NEVER recommend them. The administrative functions of this office are inept at best. Labs are ready in two days, takes two plus weeks to have doctor sign off and upload results. (Happened to me twice). Had problem getting specific prescription, they pass you around through half a dozen people then just hang up on you. That's an hour wasted on hold. Was never resolved. I had several symptoms going on, they completely missed the actual cause (didn't even test me for it) later I literally diagnosed myself on tik tok; then asked for those specific labs which confirmed. I've been coming to Eagles Landing Family Practice (ELFP) for 10+ years since Dr. Steele's father was practicing at the McDonough location. I've had some ups and downs with the McDonough location; however, it's been mostly good experiences. For today's visit, I was sick with the common cold (e.g., runny/stuffy nose, congestion, cough and sneezing) and the nurse by the name of Kelly Williams was very helpful and respectful when inquiring medical information about me and updating my profile in the system. Additionally, I had to get several shots during my visit and Damica (nurse from New Jersey) was very calming and sympathetic when administering my shots. I really appreciated that because I don't like needles; however, if I have to get them done, that's fine and I'll endure the pain. Everything was really good during this visit and I'll continue to update my post when I come back in the future. read more

I've been going to them for about five years now and recently I became ill and sought out help from Eagles landing family practice. When I went to my appointment the nurse asked me what was I there , when I began to tell her the issues she told me I didn't make an appointment for that and I would need to schedule another appointment because they didn't schedule me for enough time . I told her I did tell the scheduler and she brushed me off. I've had negative experiences regarding insurance where the same nurse told me they will bill me and it will cost x amount but I have been sick so I was willing to pay anything to find out what was wrong with me. I have left the room at this office crying more than once because of the experience. When you are sick and you see faces just like yours you would think they would give you better service because of the black experience in medical care but you are just a number here. It took me a while before I mustered up the energy to even write this review but I want to warn people not to go here. They do not care about your well being. They ran multiple lab results on me . They never called me for any of my results. I finally called them and the nurse read off my result. When I asked a question about the cholesterol she said she didn't know in a condescending way. My cholesterol was low and she said I don't know it just means it's low. They are supposed to help us! I will say I am throughly dissatisfied and disappointed in this location and I'm currently looking for another doctor to help me as I'm still not feeling 100 percent. read more

Medical Mill. This place is TERRIBLE. They get you in get you out and try to hit you with huge bills. Kim, the office manager who handles the billing department is extremely rude and arrogant. Maddison who answers the phone for the billing department is rude as well and even told me that what I could afford to pay monthly for my ridiculous bill was measly and they would not accept less than $100-150 a month. I'm a newly single parent and a student. They have no morals here. You are left in the dark to be blindsided with a huge bill. No treatment estimate was provided nor notification of a "new patient fee". When asked upon leaving would I have a co pay or financial responsibility they said "no ma'am have a great day" and sent me on my way. 3 months later I get a HUGE bill in the mail. When I called to set up payment arrangements I explained what I could afford and Kim the office manager stated that she will send it to collections regardless of what I pay if it doesn't meet their standards. As far as the physicians , that's a whole other story. Uninformative and surly (unfriendly) , unprofessional and even inappropriate. One PA made uncomfortable comments about my appearance. DO NOT GO HERE. ** NEW TO MCDONOUGH? ** save yourself the trouble and seek medical treatment elsewhere. Look for an honest reliable physician who's been in business in this town for at least a decade. These folks are FRADULENT all around. read more

Are these Yelpers serious with these 4-5 star reviews?! I've lived in McDonough for 20 years and have been seen by ELFP for about 10 years. I enjoyed the convenience of being able to go to any one of these locations. This place is such a bunch of money hungry people. I have a few different scenarios to share my experiences over the years: -waited an hour for an injection that I actually brought to the office -told I needed some test run and told me "insurance should cover it" and I got a billed a few weeks later for over $500 - Jackson Rd location told me during a physical that I needed to reschedule an appointment in order to get a refill on my motion sickness medication. Why? So they could get another co-pay from me -enjoy prescribing antibiotics for illnesses, you're better off just letting your common cold or "upper respiratory infection" as they like to call it just run its course in your body. -Jackson Rd location I went in because I had a minor car accident and wanted to see if they could squeeze me in for an appointment. The waiting room was EMPTY when I arrived and I got billed more for an "emergency appointment." I'm pretty sure that's considered a walk in and should be coded and as such - Jackson Rd location I called because I spoke with the nurse from my insurance company and she suggested I see a doctor immediately. I called this doctors office (stupid me) to get a second opinion and the first time I was hung up on. The second time I was on hold for 10 mins and then I hung up and the third time I called the nurse told me the doctor was "busy." The nurses didn't even have enough sense to assist and help me with my problem. - I got a physical and blood work done. I wanted to make sure everything came back fine and I received no phone call. I ended up calling them and the nurse said "yep, everything looks good." I actually care about my health because I know and understand my family medical history and I'm sorry but I need to know more than that. She told me I could "come up there to get a copy." I was handed the copy and wasn't explained anything. It was up to me to figure out the information. Thanks! I have only been to the Kelly Rd. Location and Jackson Rd location, but the people that work here care nothing about your health. It's all about the money and writing RX. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone, especially people who are high risk (e.g. Over 50 years of age, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, etc.) there's so many better doctors in Atlanta that are EXCELLENT and actually care about your health. While the hours are great (they are open late and on weekend, and they take walk-ins), I've never really had a positive experience here. Expect to wait at least 30-45 minutes in the waiting room (even with an appointment) and then another HOUR at least once you make it to the back. They seem short-staffed constantly, and everyone always seems like they're in a hurry. I've never really gotten any kind of genuine concern or emotion from anyone. They always seem irritated and bothered by the fact that you're there. If you need to make an appointment here because of the hours, then great, but if you can go somewhere else, I highly suggest you do. read more

The response time from them and ability to get in contact with someone on the phone is awful. I had to call back three times after being placed on hold then sent to a voicemail of some sort even though they said they'd be back shortly. They've incorrectly billed procedures causing my out of pocket costs to be outrageous. They don't send up to date or timely notices about any charges due after any appointment. The staff I've had the chance of interacting with are somewhat friendly but they're few and far between. The one doctor I thought was very good has now switched to a different location. So that's disappointing. All and all I've decided to switch offices because of the difficulty I've had with this office. read more

If you want to be lied to to get money from you on test they tell you are covered by your insurance but are actually not. THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU. They charge your credit card more than you agree on in their payment plans, and even when you are paying them monthly, they send you to collections. Their collections agency has threatened to send me to jail for medical unpaid bills and call me at random times of the day, during work and even after 9pm. Everyone in this company acts like they are better than everyone, and every single one of them has a funny different story on why you are the dumb person here and they are never at fault. Never in my life i've experienced such uncaring lack of competence. three of us in family had hoped to use this office since our doctors are where we work...eek no thank you! rude and obnoxious. seemed to care more about the tests they can do and getting paid than our patients are our reason we have a business. i'll stick with my doctor and stay away from this "let's run a zillion test then 5 more to confirm it's not that so we can make some $$" stay away from here! piedmont would never be so rude to it's patients; discharge them as not a right fit via certified mail then bill with 30 deman for payment plus pay for your medical records if you want test results...someone taking their personal frustrations out on patients just ain't how we deal with American is it? no we don't need your business. read more

Worst Doctors visit ever. I would NOT return here even if they offered me free healthcare. They did NOT listen to my needs to try to heal me. They tested me for various things that I did not even have symptoms for... likely just to charge me more. They were not kind and I had to wait over an hour. I went in for a sore throat and they did not even look at my throat. They gave me a covid test even though I did not have covid symptoms and when I threw up and passed out from the pain of the test, they left me in the room alone. They did not treat me and I had to go to a different doctor the next day to get treatment. I would not recommend this place to ANYBODY. read more

While there are a couple doctors here that are great, the addition of more NEW doctors has become ridiculous. I call this the rotate doctors in and rotate them out kinda like a training office. I was seen because I feel like I had a sinus infection. Mind you I know what they feel like. Was told by one of NEW doctors no infection was found but was given steroid injection any way. Ears were clogged she said. The NA cleaned them but nothing came out, gave me injection and said ok your done. Go get some Zyrtec and delsym for cough. I am NOT happy with this office any longer and it's a shame. I've heard bad things but gave them shot any way. Now I'm not so sure. Oh and still feel like crap. Go somewhere else...please read more

Hello, I normally don't write reviews but tin this case I must commend ELFP. They have made a huge change. There are no more wait times. If you have an appointment at 1:45 but 1:55 I am being called for my co-pay then vital work. I am seeing my wonderful doctor no later than 2:10. Five stars for the improvement. read more

I have been very disappointed with the way this practice is run. If you make an appointment weeks in advance, your wait time is still 30 - 45 min. Then when you go to check in it is all about the money not the purpose of the visit. I have seen people turned away because of outstanding bills. I usually only go once a year because it is so expensive. I went in for a severe cause of the flu and received a bill for $400! Today I was just just refused a refill on a med I have been on for 10 plus years. The reason being they want to see me every 6 months. My insurance does not cover this and I do not need another bill $400. This med was originally prescribed by a physician at the Mayo Clinic. They only needed to see me once a year for a renewal. This clinic would benefit by learning the philosophy of the Mayo Clinic "patient first"! read more

I was seen in this office today. (Kelly Road) I am a government federal employee. The Physician Assistant(Dr. N.Holl) that saw today viewed his political views and stated that it was a bonus for the federal employees that was not working, you are going to get back pay. (Like a paid vacation) I personally feel that he was out of line and it was not professional. I was so upset about his statement that it didn`t matter about the reason I was there to see the doctor. I have been a patient of ELFP since their first office in Stockbridge, GA., always had a pleasant experience. I will no longer go to this office. There are boundaries that should always be followed between staff and patients. read more

Nowadays, long wait in a provider's office is normal but the Eagle's Landing Family Practice Kelly Road location is quite efficient from the front desk to the nurse who did the intake questions, vital signs and another nurse who administered the blood work. The physician's assistant saw me and all in all we've got a lot accomplished within a short period of time. Also did not feel being rushed through. The facility also offers the convenience of on site lab work and on site mammogram, etc. I am encouraged to see a local business serving the medical needs for local community. I also used the location at Hwy 81 and they were able to do extensive X-rays on site to determine the extend of my injury. Again convenience and efficiency are their strengths. read more

If I could give them less than one star I would. I came in with a uti and a really bad cough with a 103 degree fever and I KNEW I had pneumonia. The nurse got mad at me for not being able to blow hard enough into the tube and the doctor yelled at me across the main room because I didn't go to the bathroom closest to me for a pee test. I ended up the next day in the ER because they told me I was crazy and there's no way I had pneumonia. They refused to even take X-rays to see if maybe I did. I wasted 1.5 HOURS for him to tell me that I was "over exaggerating the cold weather". And that's just one of my horrible expierences here. My husband has been going to ELPF for quiet a few years,against my wishes that he not go,after having a couple unpleasant and ridiculous visits.ELFP presented him with what he thinks is my chart or something similar,he was told it would be 18$ a month he said he would try it,well today he got a bill for 128.73 for 3 calls so that would be 50$ per call,this is leading the elderly to something they might not understand completely,We have had several billings for extra amts.after dr. appts claiming it was co0pay well if I remember correctly they get your co pay right after u sign it.Ins paid about 7 $ on the above charges.I will strongly suggest to my husband that he leave that practice immediately,I believe he is ready to go now!IT was CHRON CARE MGMT each call was 20 minutes.MAJOR RIP OFF! read more

I have been seeing of them for 20 years, but recently every time I go there there is a different doctor they can never keep a doctor , but I had an appointment yesterday and I had 10 reminders about that my appointment and when I showed up they told me that my doctor was no longer there and I would have to wait As a walk- in this is the third time this is happened to me I work nights so I cannot sit there and wait an hour or two,, no one called me and told me my doctor is no longer there again, and when I ask the manger about it she said well that happens a lot,, I am very very disappointed in them I will be seeing another doctor read more

Unless you want a LOT of hassle, then go there. They require you come EVERY 6 months and refuse to give medicine, even if it is your blood pressure medicine!!! And then if you owe anything, you definitely aren't being seen!!! They do NOT communicate with the pharmacy and just stay away!!!! Oh yeah, and if you are sick and owe very little, they will make you pay before being seen. Plus the wait is long! STAY AWAY!!!!! You will save yourself a major headache! read more

I've been a loyal patient of ELFP for 8 years. I've unfortunately watched the gradual decline of customer/patient value in recent years. I made an appointment for an injury last week. The doctor that I saw came in and gave me some general diagnosis that made absolutely no sense. I questioned her diagnosis but she insisted that she was pretty certain of the information that was verbalized to me. A week and half later, I'm still in the same amount of pain that I was in prior to my visit, so I made another appointment. An hour and a half prior to my appointment I received a call from the ELFP office asking if I could come in at a later time. After rearranging my schedule to ensure that I could accommodate their time, I agreed to a later appointment. I arrived for my appointment on time. There were two other patients in the waiting area. I patiently waited an hour and fifteen minutes before I approached the window asking to reschedule my appointment. The receptionist stated that she didn't know that I was siting there. WHAT??? You walked past me at least 5 times and you didn't notice that I was the only person sitting in the waiting area? Not to mention I signed in. I was livid because ELFP called me to reachedule my appointment, and provided NO medical services during my visit. although the waiting area was empty. To make matters even worse, as I was leaving I noticed the receptionist that claimed she "didn't notice me waiting", leaving right behind me. I guess she was too busy preparing to leave to notice that a patient was waiting for services. ELFP needs to realize that the time of the patient is just as valuable as their own and that their patients do have other options for medical services. read more

I've been a patient here for about the past 20 years. The service and billing department has been phenomenal up until their recent expansion. I am a generally healthy young adult and came in for one sick visit and a physical within the past year at the Kelly Rd location and I was immensely disappointed with the entire experience. After receiving an abnormally large bill, I continued to have several conversations back and forth with the office for the past 7 months. The issues stemmed from incorrect coding and lack of communication regarding extra lab tests that resulted in bills up to $500+. I have experience working in medical administration and understand that certain errors can occur, but the lag in response and miscommunication reflected poorly on the office. Nurse call to cancel my apt 1/2 hr before my schedule - they just foundd out that ELFP Nerve Conduct testing is not in my Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBSGA) network and they would have to refer me outside their office. The referred neurologist who was very old and rude. 2. I waited over 1 month for a physical exam which took less than 15 minutes. 3. Waited 2 weeks for a mammogram at their imaging dept (same facility). Appt canceled after 1 hr of waiting - was told I needed to see the doctor to do a breast exam and reschedule me because I noted I have been diagnosed with breast issues in the past. 4. Dr called 2 days later - saw him the next day, he then rescheduled the mammogram apt for the following day. 5. Went to the mammogram office again, was told upon arrival that the Dr want them to run a different type of test - they said they only conduct that test on Thursdays and Fridays. They then scheduled me for 2 weeks later. 6. Upon arrival for the apt today, I mentioned my previous mishaps and that I hope today will be better. 7. Oh well, after 40 mins of waiting, they told me they wouldn't be able to see me today - they need my old doctor's images to compare with their test. I asked why don't they go on with the test and then compare the results later on. They said they couldn't do it without the old result. Ok, sorry for the long review, I'm overwhelmed by this place. My Concerns are: 1. Why don't they check with my insurance company before scheduling me for any test? 2. Why didn't they inform me from the start that they'd need my old results? 3. What if I hadn't told them I have breast problem? Isn't it their job to find out what is wrong? 4. Why would they have to rely on my previous record? Are they incapable of diagnosing the problem? 5. What if I have breast cancer? Will I have to prolong my condition before getting treatment? 6. The last technician/nurse asked if they'd gave me a release form in my previous visits, I said no. Did she offer me one? No...! I left Kaiser Permanente after 11 yrs, paying BCBSGA $200 more per month only to endure humility. I left Kaiser because I couldn't continue living with HMO. Eagles Landing operates much more like a HMO Insurance company than a patient care facility. I'm afraid, this is not a place I would like to trust my health to. Very unstable, unreliable, not trustworthy and unprofessional. Rude and obnoxious people...nurses didn't even know my doctor by last name; they said he was only there 2 weeks before my first visit. The nurse I saw on the very 1st visit, said it was her last day there..... Be Aware...! I'm left now to find another doctor and another place to get my mammogram done. read more

Do not schedule a complete physical on Eagles Landing Family Practice in Jackson Rd, you will only get half of it done depending on who is in charge on that day. they failed to do an EKG and a Chest X-ray and when I called and asked why they didn't include that on my physical they said that they only do that if you have some type of issue that would prompt them to do that - I work for the county I know people that go to Eagles Landing Family Practice that do not have any issues , but an EKG and a Chest X-Ray was included on their physical. , so they messed up but I talked to manager "Kayla" and she was not willing to admit that they messed up , she did not do anything to try to help me ... i fell that I was being discriminated upon , soooooo disappointed I will never go back to them for anything ! read more

First of all I am a very patient person especially having worked in the medical field for over 20 years. I leave work today to get to my 4 pm appointment on time. I arrived at my scheduled appointment, sign in and take a seat. As I am sitting there more people is coming in and getting called to the back. I'm ok with this because I realize that their are other providers there. At 4:55pm I look around the waiting room and I am the only patient in the room. I get up to ask the office assistant about my appointment and my wait time, she apologize and went to the back to check, she came back and really didn't know how to tell me that my doctor had left for the day. I am beyond upset if I can leave work to go to a doctor's appointment the least they can do is check on the patients that is waiting in the waiting room to be seen. I will be speaking with my provider about this. I'm sure that nothing will change but there should be a system in place where this doesn't happen again. read more
