My wife and I were lucky enough to have gone before but the other couples had no clue what sort of night they were in for. What we didn't know was that as we sat down to see a show by James Knight that he was about to flip reality on its head. During the show he asked for a volunteer and my wife immediately raised her hand and he chose her. James brought ME up on stage then went back and asked my wife to pick a card without telling anyone what she had chosen. He returned to me and said she was now going send her card to me without saying a word. Immediately my mind starts racing about what card it might be. Queen of Hearts. Three of Spades. I was just on a whirlwind and then... clear as day above all of my thought.... I HEARD MY WIFE SAY "FIVE OF CLUBS" Not me. Not my thoughts. In my brain I heard her say that and the audience said they could just see it hit me because it looked like I got hit by something. And I had. I was hit by the impossible. It actually made me tear up a bit as I was simply blown away that I had heard that. That I was very intimately involved in something I can't explain. James asked me the card and I said the Five Of Clubs and of course that was it! That was just one component of his performance. There are plenty more and all of equally incredulity. But this one happened to me! I can honestly say that it's something I think about all the time.
