Their customer service is exceptional: from the first moment I called them about a landscaper accidentally cracking my custom picture window, to coordinating with them for payment, to measuring and ordering the window, to scheduling it for install. The big hurdle which James took on was communicating with the landscaper to ensure his company would indeed pay for their unexpected accident. I was highly impressed with James' finesse and positivity in making sure this happened. The team came into my home and were super professional, detail-oriented, and considerate. They were also great fun, even as they worked hard to get the job done. They spent at least two hours taping up the entire cracked tempered glass window to move it in its entirety, then jiggling it out of the tight frame, to ensure lifting it out in one piece. Then they carefully put the new custom window in place, sealing it, and making sure it was in tight. What I appreciated - b/c it's often rare - is that his crew were meticulous with the install AND the cleanup afterwards. They made sure my new window was sparkling and swept up/wiped up the area around the window. I'd recommend A to Z in a heartbeat for their quality, consistent communication, and professionalism. At the final walk through the day before closing on a condo we were buying it was obvious that not enough had been done by the seller to fix the windows the inspector had determined needed to be repaired or replaced. With less than 15 hours until closing we called James at AZ Custom Windows because he and his crew had done an outstanding job installing new windows at our home back in 2015. We replaced the windows and two door walls to our total house recently. I did a lot of research prior to choosing James at AD&W LLC. I contacted a total of 3 window contractors after reading all the reviews on Yelp. One gave me a bid and never followed up. He also did not have a solution to a door wall issue I had. Another contractor, was not as competitive and badmouthed a competitor. James, on the other hand went to great lengths to explain their process and answer any questions I had at a fair price for both of us. The bottom line is you are wasting your time getting bids from other contractors. If you want it done right and at a fair price just call James at Arizona Door and Window. I didn't get the chance to work with this company; however James was who I spoke with. My business was broken into and I had called him seeing if he could help me with repairs. I believe the company doesn't do commercial glass repair though. With that being known, he took time out of his schedule in order to help me. He was so kind to have found a company who would be able to help me out. Although I didn't get a chance to work with him his act of kindness definitely made me feel better about the situation at hand. There are horrible people out there breaking into businesses but there are also others that are caring and willing to lend a hand. We recently bought a 1959 rental home in Tempe and decided to upgrade the 6 main windows. Having never dealt with this kind of improvement before, we literally hoped for the best when we came across Arizona Door and Window and I first spoke with James. He was friendly, knowledgeable and seemed to genuinely care about knowing exactly what we were hoping for and understanding that our budget was very limited. I asked a ton of questions, but he patiently worked with me (that gets huge props right there LOL) and gave us a great quote and a pretty quick install date.
