After two days, I called again and kept getting the voice recorder, so I left a message. No call back. Following Monday I called because everyone was on my back about (if I had scheduled a pool person for the next owner for regular service and maintenance- spouse, realtor, new owner, etc.). Finally she picks up and tells me that she was just handed a note by Irene and she was going to get back to me but they are headed into a meeting (probably lunch not a meeting as it was 11:45) and so I told her I can't keep waiting and I need an answer whether they can service this pool or not, and she tells me "well to be honest, we are backed out a week and a half..." so I told her shame on them for not letting me know and keeping me in the dark. Rude and inconsiderate. It is really frustrating when you try to be loyal and call only one company you had used in the past and not make other calls...well, I guess it doesn't pay to be loyal to a company who is not loyal to you\their customers.

Our decision was based on touring several of his jobs -- beautiful work! -- and speaking to three of his references, all of who highly recommended him. We were not disappointed. Our project involved a complete demolition in front and rear including removal of concrete, brick pool and spa coping, a brick border, plant area and lawn, front walkway and entryway. A landscape architect provided us with a set of two plans, one for the hardscape design and one for the plants and trees. I wanted a low maintenance, drought tolerant, but very peaceful and natural setting. I wanted to both reduce the lawn in the back and reduce the amount of concrete. Miguel was the only contractor to submit a bid for both plans and he included drainage, irrigation and lighting. He was very responsive to calls, texts, and email. He communicated well with his workers who obviously understood the goals for the day as they arrived every morning and immediately set about their tasks, working non-stop until they left at the end of the day, taking only one break for lunch. They were always respectful and very clean. Miguel stopped by at least once a day to check on progress and on special days, like pouring concrete, was there all day. He even scored the concrete himself. We had some design issues with the stonework but Miguel never stopped until we had it right, he told me not to worry about anything, that he wanted me to be happy. I WAS happy....and pleased...and thrilled... with the wonderful job that Miguel did. He exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend him. He has a contractors license for both landscaping and pools -- his business card says: Pool & Spas - Driveways & Walkways - fRetaining Walls - Water Falls - BBQs - Plant Installation - Irrigation - Drainage.

Miguel always stands by his work. He continues to impress us.

I had a pool…read moreleak that was becoming a real headache, water loss, constant refilling, and that feeling of "this is going to turn into a big expensive problem." From the moment I reached out, they were responsive, professional, and easy to work with, and the whole process ended up being way smoother than I expected. First off, communication was great. They didn't leave me hanging, Ray was clear about scheduling, and they actually showed up on time (which I really appreciate because so many contractors don't). When they arrived, they were friendly and respectful, and you could immediately tell they knew what they were doing. They took the time to diagnose the issue properly instead of guessing or trying to upsell me on a bunch of extra work. They explained what they were looking for and what the likely causes were in a way that made sense, even if you're not a pool expert. Once they identified the leak, they moved fast. The work was done quickly and efficiently, but it never felt rushed or sloppy. They were careful, they kept things clean, and they handled everything in a very professional way from start to finish. The repair itself was solid no shortcuts and since the fix, everything has been working exactly as it should. What really stood out to me was how straightforward and trustworthy they were throughout the job. No pressure, no weird surprises, no runaround. Just quality work, good communication, and a team that takes their service seriously. That kind of reliability is honestly hard to find. If you're dealing with a pool leak and want someone who's professional, fast, and does the job right, I would absolutely recommend Tigershark. I'm really glad I called them and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I ever need anything pool-related in the future. Highly recommend.

By the way, it's an excellent product and I only wish my cars worked as well as it did. But it does need maintenance work when the heater coil or motors finally, wear out. Remember, it's working 24 seven! As for Hydro Spa, they have always come out in one or two days, diagnosed the problem correctly and usually are able to fix it the same day or the next if they need to get a part. Their prices are fair (though it's been a very long time since I used any other company.) As I said, It's like maintaining a car that isn't broken, but occasionally needs expected maintenance. But the big thing is, they are honest and they fix it right the first time. I highly recommend them if you ever have a problemwith yollur spa or Jacuzzi.

Simply Put: Avoid White Swan. They are scammers and liars. Aside from the fact that several…read moreemployees are borderline rude right from the start and act as though you are interfering with them watching their favorite TV show (read: annoyed that you ask questions), we extensively told everyone we spoke to there that we intended to place our hot tub at 105-106, before we purchased anything. No one told us this was not possible, and instead pumped us up that is was not an issue (it is in fact a Very Big Issue!). After installing the tub, we found out that the tub absolutely would not go above 104. This was not a small point for us and a very big part of our purchase decision, so for them to tell us "Sure! No Problem" again and again before the purchase was in fact a pile of Lies. When I later called them after the hot tub was installed to ask "how do we get it up to 105-106?" we were given a long list of absolute nonsense instructions that included - I kid you not - "Open up the circuitry and snip a certain wire - oh its easy - I just read about it - remove / install a certain resistor on your own (soldering??) - you can find directions on Reddit"... etc etc etc. All Lies, and most of these lies came from the owner Micah, who changed his story every time we spoke including "well I fully informed you that it could not be done (absolute BS - never happened)" and "well its a law in California to stop it at 104" - also 100% BS - there is No Such Law. I finally gave up and called other hot tub retailers to find out that due to manufacturers wanting the "UL" stamp on their products, they set it to 104 mainly due to hot tub installations in hotels and such where there is no way to know who is using it. One company - All American in Santa Clarita and SFV - sent a far more intelligent hot tub technician to our home where we discovered through his research and my own that the machinery inside the Artesian Spa was literally and permanently set to stop at 104, meaning 100% of the BS instructions from Micah etc were Never Going To Work even if I had been stupid enough to listen to his insane directions and - again no joke - start soldering resistors inside the machinery (No Effing Way I was ever going to do that). I had to call the machinery manufacturer to finally speak with someone who explained that the Artesian unit I bought from White Swan could only have the internal parts upgraded / swapped out (at additional expense of nearly $1000) to allow it to go past 104. I passed that info along to All American who promptly ordered me the parts and installed it. FYI, All American has a service fee of $125, as opposed to the White Swan service fee of $300 (big time rip off). This is all in addition to the original install including the White Swan tech leaving valves open so water was gushing inside the machinery upon first fill up. White Swan wanted to charge me $300 for them to "take a look" but I said F-No! and made it clear that this F-up was on them and they would fix it free. They capitulated and sent someone to close the valves that should have been closed on set up (we did not know about the valves). Their "Frog System" is also an expensive joke, with parts needing to be replaced often at a very high cost, and which you can only buy from their shop. It is no better than any other system, has more parts, has huge waste produced by these plastic capsules you constantly have to change, etc etc etc. Long story short I would never, ever recommend anyone ever buy anything from White Swan. We no longer even contact White Swan for hot tub issues and just go to the vastly more honest All American for all service matters who gets the job done fast and affordably. As I said in the start: Avoid White Swan completely.

We got quotes from several pool remodeling companies and Smart Swim came in right in the middle. We are strong believers on "you get what you pay for," and opted to go with them even though they were not the cheapest. From beginning to end, the guys at Smart Swim were easy to work with and truly wanted our project to come out great. After 30 years, it was time for our pool to have a remodel! Through the remodel, it was uncovered that we had many severe leaks, down to the rebar that needed to be fixed in some areas. Sam was great at making sure we understood the severity and that we were okay with any new costs that needed to be added. Not only did they do our pool, but also installed turf by the pool area and put pavers all around the pool and yard area. We also got the new gray gate installed from them as well, to replace the wooden fence in the yard (between the pool). **Noting that the perimeter wall/wooden top was painted black and sanded/stained by a different company. We truly appreciate their hard work and even when we had an immediate death in the family during their time working on our project, they were very respectful and gave us some space as needed.
